This is the best addition of extra LCS content thus far. Getting weekly interactions with players, in a casual setting, discussing events, is absolutely fire content.
It's cool to see blaber talk about how much him and the team watch even the minor regions for small plays. I know historically blaber has been an avid watcher of watching minor regions (also major regions of course) to find niche combos or plays to make and replicate.
If you pay attention to Blaber's streams on Twitch. One of his fans actually asked him about this. Blaber said he watches LCK most because he doesn't like how the format is in the LPL. He still watch LPL but not as much as he does watching LCK.
Another Bwipo podcast with guests Jatt, Sniper and Blaber Edit - As people pointed out in the comments Bwipo was pretty good on this all pro. I just like the meme from the last time he was on.
Great episode as always. Also wanna give a shoutout to Bwipo at 44:27, I've been a big fan of the super villain FLY arc this split but it was really sweet to hear him kinda bring it down and just give Sniper some personal advice about mental. Its nice to hear that he does respect Sniper and wants him to succeed, kinda like a big bro who always gives you crap but shows up when you need him
W interview and content piece in general. This may be the last one of the LCS we ever get, but I really hope regardless of whatever form our region/league takes on in the comings year(s), that we need more content like this! It’s a great way for fans to connect with the players and players from different teams interact with each other!
He's definitely still resting on his laurels, he literally said "I was a pretty big deal" out loud lol. It's not 2018 anymore bro, you're losing to FakeGod in NA wake up
I think Bwipo could be really good but makes too many mistakes to be on the same level as Impact. The most remarkable thing to me about Thanatos is how few mistakes he is making despite his time off from Tier 1 play. If he keeps it up, he'll be great. Bwipo seems like he'd be overall better than Thanatos if Bwipo wouldn't, for example, fail a proxy and flush his jungler's advantage down the drain.
Bwipo skillwise is like completely opposite of Sniper so you cant compare them in an accurate way. In short, Sniper good in lane, Bwipo good on map. And in my opinion, learning how to micro better is so many times easier than learning how to macro better
Best part was the Sniper lessons loll keep them coming. Even if i wasnt really playing i was watching so reminiscing about old LoL, esp Worlds, always hits a good spot ❤
Bwipos ego is getting a little high atm. Hes got a great history but recently hes been good, not great, even bad at some moments. Caps for instance is way more humble imo.
I love the question about evaluating players on other teams that aren't winning. So hard to evaluate good talent on losing teams if they don't rise to the top. The same thing happens in other sports, more times than not star players will rise above the rest bad team or no, but every now and then someone from a bad team will go to a good team and everything changes for them. I still think if you're THAT good, it would show.
5 min in and I already am wishing this podcast featured anyone other than Bwipo. He has such an annoying smugness that radiates from him, even though his gameplay doesn't justify it (and hasn't in a long time). And it's sad bc even as an NA fan, when he was in his first year or so of pro play in EU, the interviews and things I watched from him made me like him a lot. But it feels like his ego took over in the years since. It reminds me of the days with Piglet and other early imports who thought themselves "above" NA, and yet performed very poorly here, and in reality had no room to talk. Please EU take him back. E: Lmfao, even when the question is "Who would you pick for all pro, not including your team", Bwipo still inserts himself into the equation and says "It's Impact, C9 top, and me for top 3". E2: This guy doesn't stop lol. 29:00 min in he's preaching super smugly to Sniper about how he "has a different background", and speaking in a way that sounds super condescending and smug. Ugh, I hate to trash on players / personalities, but this guy is actually insufferable to listen to nowadays. Get off your high horse. You're playing in the LCS, and you're playing pretty poorly.. Also towards the end when he mentions feeling bad for Sniper struggling and wanting to help him out... That was actually pretty nice, and empathetic, and thoughtful... But I still want him to go back to EU 😊
lmao you can tell Bwipo is fuming after getting 0-2 swept, his ego is so hyper-inflated. Even after getting swept, he tries to talk about "smurfing" on Thanatos as his very small copium for getting destroyed when it REALLY mattered.
@@xlokax5431 it's funny because the player that's very clearly mad also spends all their time implying that they're not mad because they're so much better than their competition, who just got lucky or whatever
@@xlokax5431 you missed my point entirely. After TL beat C9 last week, Blaber didn't smirk or say he was shitting on Umti but lost because of team gap. He said TL was the better team and moved on. I have zero issue with players being competitive, what is embarrassing is acting like you are OWED a win. That's Bwipo's personality.
Impact - Thanatos - FakeGod Inspired - Bugi - Umti Quad - APA - Insanity Yeon - Massu - Bvoy Core JJ - ... - ... (imo he was a beast this split, all others were so up and down where you can make a case for most)
I don't get why people never mention TL 2017-2018 splits when they talk greatest splits. Incl 2018 spring TL beating undefeated IG in MSI (ignore g2 though lol)
It's because they were not that dominant and the feeling wasnt the same, as people did not consider TL unbeatable at the time. 2018 spring was also a lucky win if I'm not wrong, not saying they did not deserved it, I was cheering for them, but it was lucky and they performed above expectation on MSI (probably the best NA win in international ever)
@@LMusicLo Ah fair point. Guess I need to listen to the criteria more. I was just thinking "International performance must be followed up after an amazing split" and since I'm a TL fan I didn't think about regular season, just the end result. Forgot it wasn't that dominant
I'm in awe of Bwipo's ego when he hasn't done anything since riding the coattails of Caps. Constantly rags on NA but can't win this dog region even with good players around him.
@@redkobold1 dog take. I'm not complaining about Jojo/APA/Zven/Inspired or anyone else that trash talks, it seems like it's good banter. But when Bwipo constantly come on segments like these just to trash every NA top laner, when he's been just as mediocre if not worse, it comes across super cringe. Especially when throwing other teammates like Jensen under the bus while he's playing just as bad that series.
I'm not even sure Bwipo is top 3 in the lcs. Impact is ahead of him and I'd argue Sniper and Thanatos are as good if not better. He has a major Ego and is indeed living back to his old FNC days.
if bwipo has a million haters, then i am one of them. if he has ten haters, then i am one of them. if he has only one hater then that is me. if bwipo has no haters, then that means i am no longer on earth. if the world loves bwipo, then i am against the world.
I liked that Bwipo seemed more chill this session. It's cool to see Bwipo sharing knowledge with Sniper. I like Sniper's enthusiam, although I think it's a bit delusional to say they'll smash TL in playoffs lmao but I guess you have to believe in that idea to execute the victory plan. Just have to heavily prep for lane swaps
What is this "If I put an equally skilled player in that role does the team get better?" criteria? The point is that there aren't equally skilled players
c9 semi finale worlds run was " lucky" not that they had good players or anything like why would sven and licorice be good players they just got lucky sneaky who was the support vulcan and jensen they all are not good players and just got lucky THEY GOT FUCKING LUCKY OKAY THEY DIDN'T EVEN WIN THE WE SERIES TO MAKE IT TO THE SEMI WE LOST IT XD
And that’ll be the season I start rooting for the downfall of C9. Bwipo is a joke, I used to like him but his holier than thou attitude along with his garbage play is just too much to take anymore. Now, I just root for his defeat. Between him and Inspired I love watching Flyquest lose.
Hilarious that Jatt is mentioning 2017 Immortals before mentioning 2016 TSM as more impressive records...17-1 in best of 3 series, double round robin, cmon, not even close
