Great Video. Years back i helped a Friend that owned a Gas station. Worked weekends during summer. There was a Guy used to come in on weekends with a unimog Huge Red Thing. There giant.
I didn’t realize how cool a Unimog is until I saw my first RC version then I was hooked. This one is loaded with features. The bed side panels and tailgate can all be lowered with hinges on them like a real one too. Thanks for sharing your old job Unimog story! I would like to drive one. ☮️👍😎
@@JamesDirtRC I may remove the sides and rear and make it a flatbed since it is an option. They did good with all the scale details on it with opening doors and full interior. Its got the Mercedes Benz logos and front grill badge too. I was wanting a good Unimog RC and was looking at a Tamiya but this one came out and I actually pre-ordered it after reading all the specs planned for it. I waited four months and It ended up worth the pre-order wait. It was less than half the cost of the Tamiya with alot more features and dual 370 motors. Sorry this is a long comment! ☮️

@@JamesDirtRC yeah man it has all metal gears with ball bearings in the transmission and axles. It is completely loaded stock. All i did was install larger tires and i made some adjustments to the leaf springs to make them work better. Its been a reliable trail rig. ☮️👍
Great video. I watched your other videos too to do some research because I want to buy one. The main reason is the remote locking diffs. The other features are nice too, but to me this is what has me sold. It's a feature that's hard to find and is usually on expensive rigs. I believe this is the cheapest product that has this feature. It adds such much more realism and smooth turning. My current trail truck is the Tiger Dog PUBG UAZ which has open diff. How does the dual motor work? I've never seen that before. Is one motor for high speed and the other for low?
Both motors work together when you give it throttle both spin the exact speed and give it alot more torque and it uses all metal gears for added strength. It has surprised me, I have drove it many times and its great for the money. I actually pre-ordered mine so I had it since it was first announced and mine is one of the first ones built. @@Diamondbac yes it has a drag brake, I wouldn’t recommend it for rock crawling since it would most likely get hung up with the leaf springs in the way occasionally and with the transmission servo not well protected from underneath. As a trail truck and for crawling trail obstacles, I definitely recommend it. Oh, I don’t believe I mentioned it has portal axles with ball bearings all around and also has a full metal drive train with all metal gears besides the plastic driveshafts which I did buy a set of metal ones when they break but the plastic ones have been great so far. I also upgraded to a 1,000mah 2s lipo but it isn’t necessary as the stock battery was fine. ✌️😃
