LDS (Mormon) Church: Glenn Beck on Mormonism 

Even if I were not LDS I would cheer this guy on... what a great story of "rising above" to go from rock bottom to on the top of his game. all drugged-to-sober stories just bring tears to my eyes.

The church changes lives for the better. God I love being a Member of this church!

I just love Glenn Beck. He is so open and honest about his life and his past and how he has changed. I hope his family continues to be blessed by their membership in the LDS church. We have been!

Beck is awesome. His testimony is amazing. He is a true example of the power of change that Jesus Christ provides.

I like to come back and watch this one again. It helps to hear how the Gospel changes lives. Considering his past, it is notable that he's now the third most-listened to talk show. Yes, I'll probably come back and see this one again soon. I hope many more do too. I hope that many people explore the gospel that has changed so many lives, and find the peace that so many have found.

I'M BACK!! I keep coming back to watch this one again. It's funny, moving and has a valuable idea to share-- like Glenn Beck. LDS members come to agree that 3 hours on Sunday is not enough. (Most of us)

I am truly happy for Glen Beck, I can relate to everything he witnessed. I pray more people have the courage to embrace the gospel and feel its comfort and peace. It is a life changing experience that brings much love and joy into our life. It makes sense in a senseless world.

Glenn's testimony of what applying the LOVE OF CHRIST into your life does is moving and an example to us all. The teachings of Christ and following his gospel can change even the most stubborn and hardened of men.

Man! I have seen this guy and he is tough on issues and all and it brought tears to my eyes to hear him boldly talking about his religion like this. I hope he will ever be blessed and never leave the way he embraced so sincerely. While people are out there hating mormons not knowing why, just because they heard bad things about it, here is a man who is very analytical and he went there, he saw what it is, he felt the love and the Spirit and I am glad this video was posted. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to hear Glenn give his testimony. When you watch someone with a strong testimony you can see it in their eyes. The sincere love of our Father in Heaven, the sincere gratitude for our Savior Jesus Christ, the sincere desire to live according to our Father in Heaven's will, the true love of all our brothers and sisters and the desire for all to find that charity, Jesus so easily offered to all. Name calling and debates just defeat Jesus' purpose, LOVE

Glenn Beck is a great example of someone who changed for the better after coming to Christ through repentance and baptism. I admire him and know the power that Jesus Christ can bring about in the lives of people. Good video.

I never heard the full story of his life just bits and pieces on the radio. What a great story and what a great and genuine person.

What happened to love and tolerance?? After watching a heart felt video on love, you guys spend your time bible bashing. Glenn Beck is speaking truth, and I can feel it in my heart. I feel the warm fuzzies that you feel from the Spirit. The spirit will testify all truth if you open your heart. You feel the fruits of the spirit such, as joy , peace, gentleness, goodness, meekness, etc..... I am so grateful for the spirit in my life!!!

I love Glenn Beck. I especially appreciate how honest he is about his imperfections without lowering his standards or goals. I disagree with him frequently when I listen to his talk show on the radio. But I never turn it off and I never regret having listened.

It takes great courage to stand up for what is right, I applaud you Glenn Beck, harsh critics of the church forget the fundamentals of the church that we believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and through Him and by Him we are saved. My favorite part is how he knows he isn't perfect but through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he is much closer to that goal. I think that is like most of us. We still have many things to work on to better ourselves but now through the grace and love of our God we feel we can be much better.

He pretty much told the same story that he does on his video, but I love it. He's so funny. He's a good man.

I am touched by Mr. Beck's comments. Yet I feel I should point out that WANTING TO FEEL LOVE FOR EVERY PERSON was the first thing that compelled him. This aim can be attained by anyone. It is the LOVE that is important, not the religious institution. It is wonderful that Mr. Beck so clearly seems to have attained it (or, as he himself might modestly say, is at least on the road toward it). But let's remember that no single spiritual path will save us. It is we who must do the walking.

This is a beautiful conversion story and those who are humble and not full of pride will feel the spirit of truth in it. Those who have never had a spiritual experience will not understand and will of course find some excuse to justify their point of view. Spiritual experiences like these happen all the time to members who are humble and worthy of the spirit; in other words, to those who make the effort to live as Christ taught us to live; to follow his example in all things, not just talk it.

I love Glenn. He's so very soulful when he is quiet and somber. I'm so glad he was humble enough to listen and pray for himself. It reminds me of some many people I've known and been close to... especially myself. Bless you Glenn, and all my brothers and sisters out there looking for truth that satisfies the soul, and fills their lives with truth. Don't take anyone's word from either in or out of the LDS church... "ASK and it shall be opened unto you, seek and ye shall find!" Jesus said.

No MATTER what one may think of a particular Church from a personal perspective, I believe that this man shows genuine emotion in his dialog toward his belief. There is a very potent element in this. He Believes in his HEART. No MATTER what one may think of Beck's politics, he obviously has found something that works for him! That is something that should be respected! From a personal perspective: no person should mock anther's belief system; IF that person honestly has an open mind.

Mr. Beck is either loved or hated. He is on his way to the top with his very popular program. He is the middle man in his political views but has consevative leanings. Very reflective of many people in America. Expecially after our last president and with our current president. Two totally different ways to run a country. I like his radio program because it is free from filthy language in a setting that is more fun that others and generally informative. Thanks

Feelings can be tricky, but when a prophet says, "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance" (Galatians 5:22), I'm certain that some things we feel can be trusted. What I have felt through hearing and bearing testimony of restored truth, and from reading the Book of Mormon, is something that I know is from God.

Glen Beck came and spoke to the YSA in Rexburg a while back. It was awesome. Thanks for sharing this. I've been watching some of these LDS posts and then reading the comments. It just hurts that people have such hatred for us. This made me feel tons better. (I'm not going to scroll down though).

I don't know how anyone with an open heart could listen to this and not be touched by the spirit of God.

"I the Lord have spoken what I have spoken, and I excuse not myself" Couldn't have said it better.

"That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." God gives to everyone an opportunity to hear the Gospel. He reveals himself through nature, and if people respond, they will find Him.

Im a christian, and I live in Salt Lake city, and guess what? Its really hard to be exposed to a religion all the time, and to feel ppl's prejudice over you, just cuz ur not mormon! and u know, I have not felt love from ANY mormon my whole life, after 18 years!.. but I have felt love.. from.. not just Christians, but from Christ himself! I was an atheist, anti-christ person, and so was my sis, but we decided to believe in the true Christ, because he helped us! He loves all of us!

I love that conversion story very inspirational

In that lies our strength, we are hated, and we are challenged in every single way, and it makes us stronger in our faith. And some how, we are happy people regardless of the constant persecution.

Yes, and last I checked we also have freedom of life, liberty and religion. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has done so much over the past 100 years to ease suffering and lift people up, all while fools mock and attempt to tear it down.

Beck is amazing. Great conversion story! He knows who has brought him to where he is today and that's important. He puts God first and everything else next. If more people did that, the world would be much happier. Hate mormons if you choose to, but they don't choose to hate you. They do what Christians should do, love one another. You pray for the Mormons, why not pray for yourself because you seem to have a judgement on them and that's sad.

I can know his thoughts, because they (mysteriously) come out of his mouth in wonderous words and phrases. And I can know her thoughts from her actions. And surely I am glad to posses this marvelous gift of knowing people's thoughts by viewing the evidence.

Yet, the hope in their countenances reflects a life that has been marked and changed by a gospel that brings them families that are more sound and principles that make life stable and hopeful.

I'm a christian and from what it sounds to me this man has found Jesus and if that is bad.... God help us all because Jesus Saves all even the mormons!

@oakfire12 - this guy has done more for the preservation of America than any of us could possibly know. I'm not elevating him up to saint hood but acknowledge the journey he made to find the church and appreciate the same atonement that he also has access to as you also do, my friend. When you go to church and partake of the sacrament, so can he. He gets to strive towards eternal blessings just the same as you. He is our brother, a defender of the faith doing so with a reputation on the life.

We can all learn a lot from the changes Glenn Beck has made in his life!

I am a Catholic and don't believe in Mormonism, but I think this man's heart has turned to God despite the church he chose. I think it would have happened anywhere because it was time and that's where he just so happened to be. I'd love to see him rediscover the faith of his upbringing with new eyes that are converted to God.

I agree. I love glenn and this church. and Nobody is perfect, but those that strive for excellence are you ones that change the world.

@omiolo I find Glenn Beck to be a man of charity and as one who has been redeemed from the fall. If folks continue to attack him, it makes it very evident to me that these folks must not know what it is like to be completely encircled about in the arms of the Love that our father in heaven has for us. This man is not a perfect man but he is a modern Paul for our day and will be instrumental in saving the constitution now as an Elder of Israel; those Elder's of promise!

Glenn Beck is by far my favorite Radio Show. I dont get to watch his TV show because i do not have cable. But he is a great guy. unfortunatly I do disagree with him on Mormonism, but it is curious to see how his life dramaticly changed because of it. i cant help but like Glenn Beck even if he is a Mormon. Hes still my favorite radio show.
