Limited Edition Encore of the 6th Story 「Moira」 Concert Artemisia no Rakuen [→Side:Elef→] / アルテミシアの楽園[→Side:Elef→] Subs by Moony (Activate CC for subs!)
♥ It's sadly almost always just a question of time and "What can I upload without it immediately being copystriked?" (looking at you, Märchen =w=) but thank you :D
@Ryou Koizumi Yep, it doesn't even let you publish it, the moment you upload it, it gets muted and flagged. I plan on doing Elysion next (might still be a long time) and then I might play around with Märchen a bit, trying with different pitches or maybe slowing it down/speeding it up. But then again I don't wanna lose this channel with everything else that's already been on here for years, so I don't wanna risk it ;w;
1:03 For the true music afficionados (who know theory), between Haruka's line, REMI's line, and MIKI's line (which were mirrored by Yuki, Mari Endo and Kaori in turn) were the musical changes only a change in chords or a change in modes. I don't know theory to verify that. I ask because I realized some weeks ago the genius in the Moira Harmonia song where the ladies were each named after different modes, Ionian, Aoelian, Phrygian, Dorian, Lydian, and one more) and how the different lines they sang in that song were changes modes to fit their names (masterful composition in my opinion).
No, it's not mode. It just changed keys every time the verse end. My interpretation was that it was probably originally to reflect the fever-dream the young girl is experiencing as her obsession with paradise grow. It fits the context here pretty nicely tho with the Harmonia sisters taking each verses.
Just watched this for the first time a couple of days ago. Thank you for sharing with subs as always. My highlights: 0:02 Revo making a speaking mistake. Intentional? 1:12 the harmonies! 1:46 The best "u" vowel from Miki! 🔥 (with mask resonance). Her voice has become my favorite. 2:20 Really good singing from her. I love how she moves betwixt her chest and head voice ranges. 2:30 Remi and EnMari as pop dance girls (Remi was more comfortable than Mari). 2:56 😂😂😂 Dancing singers. 3:12 JAKE!!! He needed Marty Friedman for some hype exchange! 4:09 Yuuki/Haruka: Reinforced blend! They sound almost identical. 4:46 Yuuki fun time. 5:00 The return to the mysterious beginning. Masterful!
@Ryou Koizumi These are always fun to comment on since there are so many variables! Haruka does have a stronger and more consistent voice than Yuuki and a wide range than too since she can go lower with volume and weight.
@Ryou Koizumi I listened to it a couple of times - quite interesting. The beginning counterpoint singing of two separate lines by Haruka and the other singer was very surprising to me on my first listen. I suspect that the character and personality of that characters would fit their singing voices. Haruka obviously a more precise singer with a more defined tone. The other lady used a lot of breathy, childlike singing especially towards the ending. I also liked the choral voices towards the end and the ethnic music influence they added in around the middle point of the song. Moved from 4/4 time signature to 6/8 (which is always a delight) and so makes me wonder if there was another race in the game that the change was meant to reflect. I made brief comments with time stamps in my comment on the video itself.
@Ryou Koizumi Thanks for the link! You’ve really made my day with this video (as you often do). Seeing this in a different context with the full roster of singers is a delight. The one from the 3rd Reprisal Territorial Expansion (with additional songs in a medley) is probably my most watched SH video.
1:32 Kaori harmonized with Minami's bright and forward energetic tone. 2:21 REMI's already snapping her fingers getting ready for the daning stint with Mari Endo (who at 2:25 is looking towards REMI like, "are we really gonna do this?) Haha! 2:30 I am sure REMI has some rock or pop music influences in her younger years. Look at rmovements. She's not just a classical diva. 🏩💪 2:57 Once again it's kinda cute how the ladies are trying to take cues from each other and check to see the reaction of others to how they are moving in the somehwat uncomfortable (unfamiliar) dance interlude. 😆 3:35 Best musical change of the song with the key/mood change and the lyrics at this section until the return of the chrous were what made this song most memorable.
@@katekohn4310Haha! Well hopefully it's a good obsession. Thanks for the kind comment. It's fun to share some details discovering in listening to this performance again.
