Alta Via No1 is the "classic" way to cross the Alps from north to south and leads from Lago di Braies to Belluno - Rifugio Coldai and Rifugio Tissi among its stop-over destinations and the stages around them among the most demanding ones. This video is about the first part to Coldai.
Rifugio Adolfo Sonino al Coldai is located at the north side of the Civetta group. Our preferred way to Rifugio Coldai starts at Malga Vescova - with a beautiful panorama: Mondeval plain to the north, Monte Pelmo to the east, Bosconero group to the southeast, and more.
Little side note regarding the drone flight videos' sharpness - the ND filter was still a bit damp from the Rifugio Venezia hike, but the flights dried it perfectly, so from 1:00min onwards the drone flight videos are back to usual (unedited) sharpness.
Please, only go to the mountains well equipped - especially to the Dolomites. And, please, respect no fly zones and max altitude.
