I’m still here :). When it came out this song made me think of the ‘80s and childhood nostalgia. Now that this sound is mainstream again and the lyrics talk about AI, etc., it makes me think of the 2020s and our society’s techno-speedrun … and finding humanity in it all.
I've been in love with this song since the day it came out nearly 10 years ago. I was 23 back then, and a much happier man. I want you to know, this song always reminds me of those days. You'll always have a place in my heart, my memories. Thank you, Le Casette.
@@2minutes58 Lol Adam McNab apparently went into acting and stuff, so Le Cassette took a hiatus. I'm sure Joe Wood is doing film scores by now as well.
Lyrics: I see the rain falling down on your lips, I can see it on your face And all I hear is this voice synthesize Most importantly I know you will see in time Then you can decide to hold onto These arms of mine But what hurts most of all Is that we'll never see the sun The you can decide To hold onto these arms of mine Our shadows run Through the pain in the dark Are those tears or just lies My systems down So go ahead and melt this heart Most importantly I know you will see in time Then you can decide to hold onto These arms of mine But what hurts most of all Is that we'll never see the sun The you can decide To hold onto these arms of mine
This song has had a big impact on my life. I met my girlfriend with this song. I discovered one of my favourite books with this song. I overcame some big issues on my life all while listening and loving this song. All I want to say is, thanks, Le Cassette for making it, even with the weird part at the end which I hated at first but now I can't live without. Thank you, and keep doing awesome music please, the world is a little better for it.
Great comment! At the moment im not as far as you was (still waiting to meet my girlfriend). But i have the strange feeling that this song is gonna make my life better. And i like the weird part from first hearing it ;-)
I just found Le Cassette two days ago and I can't believe the amazing quality of their work, its really getting me through some tough times in my relationship. Cassette reminds me of so many different great 80's bands like talking heads and the cure while still having their own original style and more. Its been so long since we've had access to such a great burst of music in any genre. Viva Le Digital Renaissance!
Feel Good music. Bring it back. Youngsters of today need it. All genres of music went down hill around 1999. This brings me back to my toddler years dancing with my mum.
I don't even know where to start with this track. It flows beautifully from start to finish, the instrumentation is flawless and interesting, then the ending pummels with an understated, dark, brooding passion. I love it.
The fact that I become nostalgic when listening to something that is from just a few years ago means you did a perfect job. I am in love with this tune
When a new album, Le Cassette?? I am 36 years old, and your music makes me feel young again... like when i was a kid, a teen... You are the best!! Greetings from Argentina!!
This is the 80s-revival sound I love, great production, hard hitting drums, clever melody change (4:29) with badass arpeggiated synths, on top of it someone who can actually sing!
Way to fucking go Le Cassette; this one of the most amazing 80s synth revival tracks (those warm, lush vocals/vocal melodies push this song right through the damn stratosphere).
Hard to believe this is already going on 9 years old now. Very Human League "Human" inspired to my ears, but still love it regardless. I hope you're still inspired to make music like this, homme de Le Cassette!

Love listening to this tune, it has a very definite early 80's vibe to it. Fantastic vocals, beat and synths, it's right up my street :) Plus the tape video reminds me of a time gone by when all i ever did was listen to music on my non-walkman. (aiwa i think) Not much changes there :)
This album is incredible! I can’t stop listening to it! The vocals the are pin point perfect! They captured the 80’s essence so wonderfully you’d think they had bottled an infinite supply!
I love your music and voice. You're my favorite band. This is exactly my taste of music and thanks to you I found my favorite genre. I found my music home. Please never stop making music like this. You got big talent. Greetings from Germany
@@mikerotch4810 Absolutely. It was a great fun time to grow up in. I look at the time my child is growing in now and dream someday he could experience similar times like we did.

Conheci Le Cassette em 2012 de lá para cá não quis parar de escutar, adoro todas as músicas. I met Le Cassette in 2012 since then I didn't want to stop listening, I love all the songs.
Your songs are more than just a genre in music, this is real art. From your voice is so good at heart! I just dissolve in it. I would like to see your videos, your faces, your interviews. For many years I have not heard anything so great. Sorry, I'm afraid my English is not very good.
