Yeah it was definitely right up there with an 80's styl ecartoon I like all the Monkey Islan dgames but this one is definitely my favourite they definitely did a good job with it especiall yas it was the first one to have voice acting in it. Because whilst the Monkey Ialand 1 and 2 do have VA acting in them now thanks to the special edition vresions the original ones didn't.
I remember watching this scene for the first time and being, so anticipated as to what Lechuck would look like in his new form. I say this is the best Lechuck form, so far!
I realise this comment is like a decade old but even though the POTC ride was the inspiration for the start of the Monkey Island series way back in 1990, this specific game came out 1997 and the first POTC movie came out years later lmao, I wouldn’t call taking inspo the same as ripping off though (especially since it was from an amusement park ride)
