As a Frenchman, I can tell you did put real efforts in the pronunciation of the lyrics, even though it shows you're not familiar with this language. I can hear you tried, even if I would have difficulties understanding what you were singing without reading the lyrics. Congrats for the effort you put, I know French is really not the easiest language in the world, even us are aware of that. Maybe is it because I am French and a parisian that I've always found this peculiar song so comforting and warm. It reminds me of my childhood when that movie came out, how it portrayed not an all fantasmagoric Paris like Americans tend to imagine but a more realistic one. It's a beautiful and tender song.
