Really great job guys, it’s so good to see such a detailed set of impressions from you! Noir is definitely one that grows on you, I have to say it’s a real favourite of mine. Hope you’ll make more videos like this soon 😉
Thank you so much!! Means a lot and I'm glad you enjoyed it! The drydown of The Noir 29 was so fast and dramatic that it surprised me! I meant it when I said that it changed by the second.. It just got better and better and I enjoyed it even more a few hours later after these first impressions. Might end up with a bottle 😍
Oh just the job 🥰 Le labo is such an amazing house it was a pleasure to see you experience them. Bergamots 22 is a definite favourite of mine, so glad you liked that one 😀
Oh my Lord what a treat! I have sampled a few of these but Santa 33 is the one I’m most familiar with and will probably always be my favourite. Throughly enjoyed this, definitely hope you’ll keep making more impressions as and when 😜
Happy you enjoyed it! Had a ton of fun trying all of the Le Labo perfumes! I agree! I´ll ALWAYS have a bottle of Santal 33 in my collection. Love that thing! 😍
Oh my goodness! Patchouli 24 is my favorite Le Labo fragrance! It’s not for everyone but it opens with campfire smoke and marshmallows (to me) and a few hours later vanilla and talc come forward. It’s definitely a masculine scent, but I love to wear it on cold winter days with a cozy sweater. The Noir is my second favorite. I do not understand the Santal craze. Go figure.
Another 13 is my favorite, its the only fragrance I wear since discovering it a few years ago, it’s an addictive scent, very sexy to me. I can’t stand Santal 33 made me sick first time I tried it on, also I will smell it on multiple people throughout the day in LA which makes it ordinary to me. Not the case with Another 13!
Well.. Everyone enjoys different kind of scents 😊 Interesting though that you mention bathroom since there are quite a few hotels using Santal 33 as room and bathroom scents 🙃 I had such a weird experience with another 13.. The very first time I used it.. I could not stop sniffing myself.. It was such an amazing scent.. Tried it again... And again.. And again (well over 10 times after the first time) and I could not get that same initial scent back.. Not sure what was going on with that scent. Love at first sniff then nothing😊
GOOOOOOD Morning Michail!! Thanks for subbing. Hope all is well! How’s your week so far? 😃 I'm just on my way to the gym for a morning workout.. I'll see you around! 😊
Hi! It's first impressions, and thus should be treated as such. 😊 Judging solely based on the top notes is not the best way to judge perfumes, but a lot perfumes dry down faster than one might think and several are fairly linear (not talking specifically about Le Labo.) So when we've done a lot of our first impressions the scent that we judge actually has quite enough time to atleast reach mid or mid/base. 😊 And so far.. Most of my first impressions have been accurate (to my own taste) in that my initial impression sort of stayed the same even when going through the drydowns later on. :) And I've bought a lot based on my first impressions and the same goes for those: I loved the first 5-10 mins and I loved it when I bought it. :) Thanks for your feedback! Appreciate it! 😊
Iris 39 has nothing to do with Valentino Donna. VD is sweet, powdery, makeupy and with a lot of sweet rose. Iris 39 starts dirty ,you smell the patchouli, a bit of citrusy from the lime and ginger but those get lost the more it gets into drydown. Its also a bit of civet at the beginning making it a bit animalic which goes away too. The more you smell it the more buttery Iris it becomes and is something cold about it. There’s no actual iris flower in it, that’s why the makeupy powderiness is not really there like in Valentino Donna or other perfumes with iris. This is green iris and bulbs of the iris.
Haha Sandra you’re killing me with your ratings!!! So appreciate your sincerity from the both of you 👏🏼. I do wish we could get your feedback from the most famous ones after you both have worn in and tried out for a while. But that’s a lot of work. This is my favorite house so far and MFK. I just love the quality and fresh and cleanliness of this house.many have this sour note that I have no idea how they’re doing it but it gives a bite. Like Rose, Santal, the noir, bergamoto (all I’ve tried so far as well as Lys and Anotjer 13 but it doesn’t have a bite) anyone know how that’s made to give it a bite? Atomic Rose from Initio does the same when it died down a bit. Another 13 by the way I cannot smell except for a bit of skanky for the first hours but once the next day o could still smell it and it had transformed into what I believe everyone says they love it for
Awesome video! I’m going on a trip to New York soon and I’m so excited to go to the Le Labo shop there. In your opinion, aside from Santal 33, which ones would you say are best suited as a signature scent? I want to purchase a fragrance there on my trip and want one that’s a bit more neutral, nothing overly sweet and nothing too bland. Thank you keep up the good work as always!
Hi! I've tried a lot of them and a lot of them are not my thing. Except Santal 33. Had it on about 2 weeks ago, and while I did not get a direct compliment that time, a friend told me her friend said I smelled insanely good and that she had to get her man whatever I had on 😆 I just love that scent and it just does something to people. It's the only Le Labo I can recommend that I myself 100% love. I've been on the fence for a long time about "another 13". Might get it. Even so it's not on the same level as Santal 33. There are some other good scents from Le Labo but really not something that I feel is worth the money they want for a bottle 😊
@@rottenrebels Thank you for such a quick reply, you’ve always been on point when it comes to responding, I really appreciate that. I have yet to try any of them and maybe I will be much like yourself and not get too attached to any of them and try and find something else on my trip! Thank you again for your time!
@@rottenrebelscoming back to this comment after smelling the Le Labo collection. My personal favorite was “The Noir”, with the patchouli being my second favorite!
Let me say and a newcomer to your channel…. You alls chemistry is 100%. I watched the entire thing just to see you look at her when you passed her the stripes ❤
Loved this video! My signature scent is Santal 33, I get asked what am I wearing alot! Now I have to try this neroli 36. I wasn’t crazy about Rose 31, I think the rose was just a bit tooooo dirty for me. 🫢 Is it me or does Another 13 smell similar to light blue by D&G? 🤔
Thank you!! Santal 33 is featured in todays video and it's one of my scents that just creates some of the craziest reactions ever. Love it! My favorite from the house for sure! Another 13 is so weird on my skin.. I got absolutely addicted to it but it just keeps on changing every single wearing.. I personally don't think it's that close to light blue by D&G. 😊 Glad you enjoy Santal 33.. Such a beauty that one is 😊
