One of the best films of my lifetime. The period of my early manhood. The visuals. The sounds. The music. Thank you Steve. It was a mess in production but a triumph worldwide. God bless all those drivers who died during that epic era .
Great n best movie in almost unnessary no talking silence, having shown about a must of true feeling n humility by natural human beings, in my oldest days♡
MC Queen was an action movie star. Le Mans was ok but could be better if it was not because the constant management failure of the movie. McQueen was the best actor of his time........that is the reason why so many guys wanted to be like Mc Queen but will not fit in his shoes.
I believe that in spite of the setbacks, McQueen told a true racing story to the public. It's not all glamor and champagne, no matter what type of racing it happens to be. It's simply man and machine.
FYI: Steve was actually a pretty good race driver. Loved racing motorcycles... in 1969, he was riding in the Annual Elsinore Grand Prix (a dirt bike race, through, and around the outskirts of town), took a spill (breaking his foot in the progress), got up, and finished 15th overall (broken foot and all). The very next weekend, he competed in the 12 Hours of Sebring, finishing 2nd....his driving partner...the late Peter Revson.
You know, and I think that most would agree, the beautiful lady is saying "I Really Need it. I'm so Hungry for You. Frost My Muffin !" Steve replies "I have Something for You... Right Here ! I'll give You All My Hot Soupy Frosting Sweetie Pie."
