This is a walkthrough of Le Meridian Khao lak Resort and spa in Thailand. My wife and I spent two weeks there during April 2024 for our wedding anniversary. We wanted a hotel which was quiet clean and a fairly high standard of cuisine. We got everything we wanted. There were plenty of activities happening if you wanted to partake and we booked two of the local trips, one to visit an elephant sanctuary (do research where you are going as the condition these beautiful animals are kept in varies widely - the hotel recommended a very good standard experience) and want to visit the Surin Islands. Pull the trips were booked through the hotel and both we felt were value for money. We also took advantage of the shuttle bus taking you to Bangyang Market And on each occasion we opted to get a taxi back from Khao Lak costing about 400 Thai Baht. They also hired a motorcycle from the local shop for a day looks depending upon which country you originate from be wary of the standard of the local motorist. It's certainly an eye opener but great fun. You also must visit the tsunami memorial site which is opposite and to the right of Bangyang market. We went there intending on spending just 10 minutes to get out of the midday heat but ended up spending an hour and a half. I hope you enjoy the video.
