Thank you so much for a great video. The last time that I had seen it was in 2006. It was the greatest show I've ever seen. Worth every dollar and i wanted to buy a DVD at that time but they don't sell it. The only thing they were selling was a CD. This really brought back memories. Thank you so much for this video, Michael. We saw Le Reve in 2005 when it first opened and then about 6 or 7 years later after all the ballroom dancing had been added and we were a bit disappointed that it had changed so much from the original version which was mind blowing. I don't know how you managed to film the whole show without being detected but thank goodness you did. I now have a permanent reminder of the show (even if it's not the original version) and wish it had come back after the pandemic forced it to close. We saw Awakening this year just before it temporarily closed for "improvements" and we were a bit disappointed after all the build up and hype. It's not a patch on Le Reve and was very expensive when you added in all the taxes and Ticketmaster fees.
I was so happy I got to see this live when I was there. There was a much more drama and dark themes in this one and the OST was much better by twenty fold than the 2018 version. I was sadden they took off Vampire from the new show.
Simply stunning.!! You know when you've witnessed something special. One cannot stop thinking about it the next day. If you plan to see it live don't watch this. Ït will spoil the many surprises.
@@rod_yerena.h the original version had mannequins hanging from the ceiling, and no big fabric disappearing into it. Also Robert Falsini was still the singer , and the lyrics were different
I saw the first version 2005 which was breathtaking. The best show ever in Vegas and other countries. I saw all the shows in Vegas included "o" naturally. I saw Le Reve a second and third time to several years of interval and it was getting worse and worse. I don't understand why they made these changes that distorted the show, the original scenography was far superior. If you like the latest version, just imagine what the first one was....

Every inch of the "stage" is submergable, anyplace the audience isn't in can sink, the pool/tank is 40 feet deep, underwater lighting and equipment that looks into pool, scuba divers always underwater for emergencies. There are also 5 "garages" off side walls where sets and equipment move into and out of pool as needed. I got to see all of this "backstage" while building the Encore 1n 2007 we were relocating storm drains in the "prop shop" due to upcoming changes as the Encore was added to the Wynn complex. This IS no dpubt the most dramatic Cirque show anywhere.

He used a hidden camera eye in a cap he was wearing on his head. Unfortunately the guy with the large coconut head was directly in front of the view. It always works out that way. Someone will always spoil it. They should have laws that people who are tall have to sit at the back of the theatre. Spoils it for people whom are short. I have been stuck like that before. You just can't know ahead of time who is going to be in front of you. Nice try. At least we get to see a lot of it.
Was Much better this One than 2018 New edition.. this has more drama, more darkness, more show quality, and more immersive themed music.. the new music sucks.. but i will retine to see it because artists deserve support.. they have created the original verision with mr. Dragone so this show deserve to go on forever.. long life to “le reve”...
Dont know why, but seeing all of those birds fly in around the 22:25 mark, mad me think, wonder how long it took them to get all of those birds to fly to that one target every single time???
Does anyone know where I can get this version of the soundtrack? It’s the best! All the ones I could find are different from earlier versions of the show.
I have watched this show at the Wynn Hotel Vegas, I want to ask how can you record this show. as far as i know , nobody can't record all shows that are performed in vegas.
