she wasn't that popular back then and got an evil edit for being "greedy" and taking the main vocal from a fan favorite. it was total bs so i'm glad she's shining in lesserafim now but as someone who was watching the show at the time i can assure you her elimination was not righed, knets and lots of fans were put off by that edit

I wish to watch Produce 48 only for Yunjin and to understand what exactly went wrongly!!!! :/

Yep, she was in the top 12 on PD48 and got bumped out on the notorious 'evil edit', her vocals were rock solid in PD48, she was one of my favorites back then, still is. Yunjin is an all rounder, vocals, dance, visuals, personality, girl has has it all in my book.

@@vvvilla (Q1) No semifinals, at least not what I would call semifinals, there were eliminations rounds on each show, it was a survival show of 12 episodes, with 96 very talented girls, Yunjin was always ranked in the mid teens & 20s from the very beginning of the show. At one point she was constantly climbing because of her strong vocals (imo), and in episode #8 (I believe #8) she was ranked 11th, I thought she would definitely be top 12 in the end, (Q2) then the evil edit happened and she dropped to the high 20s again and never recovered because the fans took a hate on her for being 'greedy' for wanting to be the main vocal in her group, (the rankings changed wildly in every episode by the way) and sweet Yunjin was finally eliminated in episode #11. (Q3) Yes, voted by Korean fans only, from what I remember. (additional) Kind of nice to go back and watch a few of my many favorite PD48 clips every now and then, like with Park Haeyoon, she was another favorite of mine, she is a great vocalist and did debut after the show ended, and of course my fav, Sakura.💖🌸 (edit: even Sakura was a victim of the mnet rigging)

It's funny how horrible some of them sounds, standing still, on encore stages, which is 100% live vocals.. but when they are performing and dancing to such a hard choreograpy they suddenly sounds good and stable.. hmm maybe backtrack?
