In this position how can you get good pedalling power? On regular bike you can use body weight to power, on this, the pedals too close, you lose advantage, and can not push fully against your back...
Très confortable mais vraiment inefficace dans les montées... solution: une assistance électrique présente sur de nombreux velos couchés utilisés en zone vallonnée...
For fun, it's okay, for serious, no....Too much toy too little transportation and hauling....there is no battery anyone has yet that might not leave you stranded so the pedals are too short for the power needed to get home if battery dies when out there. What are you going to do call triple AAA? It doesn't even look like good exercise or useful for handicapped and disabled people....
Perhaps the bike could have an adjustment for length/distance from pedals to seat, allowing for better leg extension according to riders height. (giving improved pedaling leverage, and less knee strain) This would add some weight and complexity to the design; and the steering link would also need to compensate. The focus of this bike is more for fun & variety anyway, rather than competitive performance. Interesting design.... BTW: Could someone please post a translation text, from French to English and Spanish? Thanks.
