This is what we call a song without auto-tune. This song actually shows her true inner singing potential. Full of power and impact. This is what we call using the correct technique to sing. I support Lea Michele.
I discovered this song because I got a used iPod at a garage sale and this song was on it. Now it's helping me overcome my depression. Thank you, previous owner of my iPod!
I can't watch any episodes after Cory passed away without crying. How this poor girl copes so well, astounds me. I love her so much and I give her such credit. RIP Cory. ♡♡♡
I love Lea Michele's voice. Its so strong and powerful and always expresses and emotion she is feeling at that moment. I really think its amazing how she goes through this tough year with her lost and cameras shoved in her face soon after and she can just dive head first into life not just for Cory but for herself. This song is amazing!
How does she do it? She lost her boyfriend so tragically and she still moves one performing and doing what she loves. I would be heartbroken especially since sometimes they ask her about Cory and the song they sang how does she not start to cry
Denise Timbrell I know sia wrote it I love sia. Sia writes songs for a lot of artist. I meant how does she sing this without breaking down and crying...
Lea is perfect and I think this song is amazing! Her voice is spot on and I don't understand why everyone is giving hate for it. The song is perfect for what is going on in her life and you can hear how passionate she is! Luv it lea!
even though sia wrote this song for her this expresses exactly how lea feels we all love you lea rip corry you are honestly the most strongest women ever and you deserve the best in life and i know if corry was here he would tell you the exact same thing if corry was here and he had to tell you exactly how he feels about you it would take a million years just to describe how brave strong and beautiful you are love you so much
Lea is so amazing at singing and nobody can change that. Im just so proud of how far she has come, and I'm sure Cory would of been aswell ❤ Nobody can stop Lea from reaching out for her dreams
Why, compare Cannonball to Wrecking Ball? In all honesty, cannonball has more emotions then wrecking ball. Cory is gone, Liam is still here. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
I know this was three years ago but these sort of comments really piss me off. I love Lea, and I love Miley as well. And I agree that these songs shouldn’t have been compared, cause they’re two different songs by two different artists, people are just silly. But you don’t need to tear down one artist just to lift the other one up.. Lea lost Cory, and it was heartbreaking. And yes although Liam is still alive, Miley lost him at the time because they weren’t together anymore, and it was still very hard for her.. They were both very hurt, and heartbroken so there’s no need to try and steer away from the fact that both songs are full of emotion, and both of them were obviously very hurt. Losing someone you love is really hard, so those sort of comments are disrespectful. I hope you’re not offended by my comment but it’s 2018 now, and I just hope people would stop tearing people apart just to praise their idols. We can still appreciate this amazing song, without slandering Miley’s.
If 'Wrecking Ball' was about Liam, who's still alive, then she wouldn't have sung 'I put you high up in the sky and now you're never coming down'?? She sung it about her dog dying??!! So, yeah!!
I work at a grocery store & the music is annoyingly on repeat. All day, everyday. However, this is one of the few songs that I loveeeee when it plays, I just had to look it up! And OMG it's freaking Lea!😍
She has a beautiful voice regardless of how you may feel about the song. She is a pleasure to listen to and can sing. Many pop singers are all image, no talent.
How can you not Love this woman, she is stunning, excellent singer, and can sing anything that you give her and make it just sound beautiful. And for those who knock her all you have to do is show the world what you have got and upload it on here and let the people deside and it you can't then please do use all a favour and shut up.
I know what Lea sang this song about. Even though it's not anything I've been through, this song also relates to what's going on in my life right now. It's really inspiring! I love it! :)
Even though Lea didn't write the lyrics, she said herself that they applied directly to her life. They apply to mine too, that's why this song is so inspiring to me!
Love this song. And those who say it isn't her voice. Who are u to judge if its her voice. She's not just glee as her voice. She's original and if this is her song then it's her voice. And everybody needs to stop comparing it to glee. That's not all she is and I'm sure she wouldn't want to be compared to Rachel berry for the rest of her career. Love you Lea!
I love how others complain when one artist writes a song for another artist. Who cares? You guys do realize that some people feel their songs can be better for the ones they’re writing for? It’s the same when writers do nothing but write songs for artists. Those writers probably don’t want to sing or can’t sing and want their art to be sung by others.
I don't like glee (except the tribute of Cory; I had to watch that episode; it was beautiful) but I really like this song. It's very liberating!! It's like she is letting go of the hurt but not of him
All you people who are hating on this song. STOP. You arent the one's who are successful, Lea is. I understand you have your right to your opinion and all but to hate on such a wonderful artist is just wrong.
+Dionisia Mp She was very upset and she went with Sia and she asked her how she was feeling and if she wanted to write a song about it (and she wrote one about Cory) and then Lea told her that she had to "let go of fear so the peace comes quickly" (or something like that, you get it) and Sia told her "that's funny, I just wrote a song and you just said the lyrics; it's called Cannonball". And that's basically the story. (You can hear it in the interview with Ellen)
Guys, Lea didn't write this song, Sia did. So the comments about the lyrics don't apply to Lea. As for the vocals, that's up to everyone's own opinions.
I love Lea and I think she have the best voice ever that's my opinion and the best of her us that she sings every single song you give her and it doesn't matter the gender she jusy rocks and I'm so happy she's working hard with her carreer.
