Lea never talked about anything bad or complained anyone from Glee.. never! I have been a gleek since 2010 and never happened.. when she talks about glee, always good things about glee always she appreciated gleek's support. Even when there was beef between her and Naya, she never responded or said anything about Naya.. I was glad to see Naya started to liked and commented on lea's ins... as for that Sammie girl anyone who milked the drama blaming lea for their career failure.. yeah they can keep milking it... by the end of the day.. their career won't have any change.. Glee helped to make you a decent opportunity for your career but will never guarantee your career.
And that goes for anything in the industry. You’re very correct. Lea has never spoken ill of anyone. There was even something that Samantha was in after glees ending and she was asked about everyone including lea and had nothing but good things to say. There’s a certain power that comes along with silence. And Lea has remained silent and professional. It says a lot that Naya did start following her again and commenting and liking her things before her passing. It means if she was that awful of a person, Naya would have never interacted with her again period
@@nicolefrances.c very late reply, but I completely agree! It was so cute when Naya commented that Lea's gonna be a great mom. I wish they'd get to make up. 💔
@@jensenkansas567 truthfully I don’t think the feud lasted that long. Naya ended up following her again. There may not be moments where they talked through their differences, but I wouldn’t follow someone again just because, ya know? I think Naya and Lea were actually similar with their work ethic. They were both competitive and I just think of course jealousy was involved.. Naya unfollowed her shortly after she was called out in 2020, but I don’t think Naya actually knew or saw any kind of racism. I think she just did it because if it was true, it would be wrong and she didn’t want to attach herself to it. Unfortunately Naya passed before she could come to her own true conclusions after some time. I do wish they did have that moment though. I miss Naya terribly and I do believe Lea cares for her deeply still.
@@nicolefrances.c Truly! It hurts to imagine what could've been, knowing it's not possible now. But I honestly believe they'd have made up sooner or later and have their children be friends. 🥺💕
No she didn’t and she was just so genuine and funny and oh my God there’s another channel that uploaded this entire concert and thank God I have it on my like videos list because I can listen to this over and over and over and never get sick of it. I can’t wait to see what she does next but girl is amazing her Carnegie concert was amazing. I can’t wait to see what she does next.
Lea seemed very chill during the first season, during the last seasons and after she seemed pretty uptight, but right now she looks happier. I am happy for her. I genuinely think that her awful attitude during Glee was due to Cory's death. She was always a diva, but his death destroyed her. We all know that grief can make a person do awful things. But she truly looks happier now. PS: Lea swearing is like seeing a rainbow. We are fine not seeing one because it's extremely rare, but when we do we end up *shooked* .
@@WerdnaNiraehs , I read Naya's book. She *never* said that Lea was a nightmare to work with. Yes, she implied that they had a falling out, but she didn't say that she was a nightmare. In fact, Naya even admitted that Lea was good for Cory. Lea is a person that rathers stay at home drinking tea than being out partying, which was something Cory needed. Also, Dianna and Cory were both adored among the cast. Naya even said so, they are/were very good people! The fact that Lea was once upon a time Dianna's best friend/roommate and Cory's girlfriend says something. She was also Naya's friend. That implies that she wasn't so bad to begin with, it's just that life changed her.
@@nicolefrances.c Absolutely not what anybody said. Nobody is mad that people still like her. You can like whoever you want. But excusing very shitty behaviors with events that happened years after that behaviours was known... is just bullshit. That's all. Love and support her - go wild. Just don't make very weak excuses about her behaviour, because it is problematic and casues people like her to continue to be assholes - because they can.
She went through a bit of traumatic time during filming the last two seasons of glee because she was dealing with The loss of her boyfriend at the time Cory Monteith.
I'm sorry but none of that excuses her horrendous racism, many people have lost those near and dear to them and don't start being racist. And there's proof she was racist and a very bad person before he even died because he had to apologize to multiple people for her behavior including staff and multiple locations. No excuses for it.
Very relax and chill Lea. I think she is in a better place in her life. Everyone deserves a second chance. The personality and talent is still there. I think she can do a comedy movie.
@@britneytian3768 you need to honestly be quiet. That comment had absolutely no place here and it doesn’t correlate. Please take your ignorance elsewhere
@@britneytian3768 OMG you really went there?! Naya is dead comment? Maybe therapy would help you in your hate and anger issues. Find some peace and kindness in your heart. Maybe it is family trauma but you will get through it.
Wow...... Rachel Berry in real life isn't annoying at all lol, what a beautiful experience to be in that audience listening to her, such a talented young lady who can actually sing.
To me even though her attitude was nasty in the past I think Funny Girl will be her time to redeem herself. I have a feeling she will be liked by the cast and her attitude has still never changed her raw talent.
This is a good way to say you don’t support her past actions, but you believe in growth. I do appreciate that kind of positivity on my page. Thank you for the comment and I completely agree!
I agree. And by the time all of that stuff had come out, it had been half a decade anyway. People change all the time whether or not we’re willing to recognise that. Funny Girl will either redeem her or reveal that she’s the same as she was in the past.
Thank you for posting these videos. I’m kicking myself for not buying tickets to see her in Philly. I just saw her in Funny Girl last weekend and she was amazing!! If she ever does something like this again I won’t hesitate to grab tickets.
I hope no one minds what I’m about to say, but with everything that she has been through she’s come out all the better all the stronger, all the more talented for it and I cannot wait to see what she does next.
Honestly i have shocked myself with this video. I only watched glee last year so i already knew about the hate Lea was getting and stories around her that people on twitter were saying, which tbh alot i think were fabricated. But i thought well it must be true she really is like an evil woman, and i was stupid to come to that judgment. Even if you don’t like Lea you can not deny she is definitely a star, she has an amazing voice and born to play in Funny Girl. How many of us can say we are perfect, haven’t been rude to people etc? NEITHER OF US. We are all human, and so is Lea. And this video is the one that has changed my whole opinion on her. Yes year’s ago she did look smug at times but she has a kid now, she is somewhat older, she has grew up and that has probably changed her for the better. None of us are perfect. And im glad i seen this because to me now honestly Lea seem’s really sweet, kind and engaging. The audience is apart of her show. She seems genuinely happy aswell to even bring up glee and talk about it, compared to some other cast members who still trash it to this day. Thank you for this video. She is going to absolutely kill it in Funny Girl. A definite star of the show.
I was so nervous when I met her for multiple reasons as you can imagine. She’s been one of my favorites since 2009.. and is my number 1. When I met her she was nothing but kind to me. She could tell I was nervous and really engaged with me. She had a lot of eye contact because we had masks.. but I was wearing a “wicked” mask and she took the time to strike up a conversation because of it. I truly appreciated that experience. She’s not perfect you’re right… but we also need to start giving people the chance to change. I remember that when doing something wrong.. if you weren’t corrected.. the behavior would continue. She’s not racist, her costars who talked about her 2 years ago even said that… a diva.. sure. And sometimes you kinda have to be in that industry. But she could very well be a changed person. And we’d never know if no one gave her a chance.
I saw Spring Awakening in 2007. I also saw that week Wicked ;August, Osage , and The Magic Flute (Julie Taylor's' ) and the thing that stood out was Lea singing Mooma Who Bore Me.
Lea’s the only one who speaks about Glee with true appreciation and respect. I’ve always loved that about her. As a gleek, we have our icks about the show but we still love it so deeply, and Lea’s the only one who speaks so fondly and so sweetly of her time on it. I love her SO much. She’s my big sis in my head (and somehow she’s my child and my mother at the same time!)
Immense Lea ! une veritable Diva !Funny girl etait inscrit dans ta vie depuis toujours et tu l interprete magnifiquement !Je crois que Cory doit avoir un fauteuil dans la salleet etre heureux!🤩🤩
I feel like people never took the time to see life from her point of view, yes we all loved Cory but being with an addict is really hard on you,I honestly can't blame her for being young and disruptive at the time all considering
Rude comments… will be deleted. I’m sorry but I won’t stand for it. Either get over her winning or stay pressed elsewhere. This is MY account, with MY videos. I’m allowed to monitor as I see fit. Wanna express your hateful “OPINION”. Do so somewhere else
@@MysteriousGirl10 if it is expressed in a rude way.. then yes. I have every right to monitor the way things are said on my account. I don’t go to people’s accounts and randomly post hateful or rude opinions just because I don’t like the person. I won’t tolerate it on my page either. Nothing wrong with that.
Rachel Berry is one of the best characters ever! She could be difficult and she kinda is like the actress. She literally only had sex for the 1st time just to play a character better. Selfish, self-centered but also with a lot of confidence and self love. I relate to Rachel Berry so much. ⭐
I’ll never understand why she was cancelled over ‘being a diva’. It’s such a harsh punishment in my opinion. She’s just a true entertainer. I find her so engaging.
She was only temporarily cancelled because the person who initially called her out called her out during a BLM movement.. she said that Lea said she’d “sh*t in her wig” amongst other microaggressions. Later on it was admitted by the woman who called her out that Lea isn’t racist, and that she didn’t directly hear Lea say it. It was by word of mouth which is a rumor. Rumors are often false. No one came forward to back up this woman’s claim who then used her new found “fame” from tearing lea apart to promote her own music and career. It’s incredibly obvious to those who actually paid attention that this woman was doing this for the attention. I will not speak on others experiences and I won’t invalidate hers (her name is Samantha Marie Ware) but I will not ever side with that woman.
The main issue is her behavior.. which is quite literally just her being a diva. Many things that have been said are more than likely dramatized, exaggerated, or false.
@UC2fgGQuGRplCtX543WfkLAQ I’m not reading all that. All I know is the individual above asked why she was canceled, and I gave a reason. I love her. That is why I’m watching the video. I am not hating on her. Have a blessed day, Madam. 🙏🏾
@@nicolefrances.c Every story has two sides and Lea never told hers (and I think she never will, given she never spoke ill of anyone in public). But I'm glad you pointed out the actress heard a rumor and just run with it. I had friends who worked on Glee (they cleaned the sets in between scenes) and said that during the first seasons, Lea got along great with everyone. They said she was kind of a diva, but nobody, apparently, cared much about that, since they were all friends and just laughed at each other. And there were other divas on that show. But after Lea and Naya had a falling out (which I believe was largely caused by Ryan Murphy's special treatment of Lea), many people took sides and some spoke ill, made things up and laughed at Lea's expense behind her back, especially in the last season. My friend Camilla, who worked more closely to Lea, said she noticed the looks and sneering words towards her, and became very defensive. I'm pretty sure that, if she really said those words about the actress, is because she was provoked. Glee's backstage in later seasons was just a huge battle of egos!
@@pantroglodytes1625 I’ve been saying this for such a long time! There are three sides to the story. There’s Lea’s, there’s the “victims” whether that’s Samantha or whoever else came out about her… and then there’s the truth. Lea hasn’t done anything to continuously defend herself. She released an apology which I think people misinterpreted the word perceived.. or took it in a way it wasn’t meant to be taken lol… but then kept to herself go reflect as well as focus on her pregnancy that was a very risky pregnancy btw. Idk why Samantha’s so butt hurt. She used the announcement of Lea becoming Fanny to then take to Twitter and talk about how Hollywood and Broadway uphold whiteness and then proceeds to promote her Hollywood filmed show she’s in. 🙄 I can say this confidently as a person of color.. there are many people of color who will consistently use the race card where it doesn’t need to be used. If Lea was genuinely rude to Samantha.. it wasn’t because of her race Lmfao. It makes no sense because she was close with Amber as well and even went to her tapings of dancing with the stars. Also I don’t know if you heard but I can’t remember it was 2 years ago but I remember someone also saying how Samantha was joking around on set while they were filming a serious scene and lea got pissed. I mean.. damn straight I would have too. This is WORK. It’s not fun and games. Idk how accurate that is I can’t remember who it came from I thought someone notable but I’d have to do diggin again. But right there shows me that Samantha wasn’t innocent in everything. Thank you for sharing this with me btw. It was nice to read. I went got stage door last night to get my playbill signed by her. She’s the cutest.
While other actors like "Santana", "Artie", "Tina", "Mercedes" and "Britney" only trashed Glee, and in the show were always mean and offensive with Rachel for being too ambitious and devoted to her dream, Lea is like the Rachel Berry that once said that "being a part of something special makes you special", saying only good things about it, and at the end, that's why I always loved Lea and Rachel and wasn't a huge fan of those who I call them by their characters...
Oh, she seems to be a really nice person in this video. I don’t see that obnoxious aura around her anymore. It seems being a mom really changed her. That’s great!
She took accountability 2 years ago when the allegations were said. The actual situations happened 7+ years ago. She’s not a very active person in social media so the only way to really know she’s grown is with her upcoming performances in Funny Girl.
Lmfao if you have the ability to read that comment you have the ability to read the other comments where I’ve said this is my account my videos I’m allowed to monitor it as I see fit.
