This is one of my favorite songs sung by Lea Salonga in one of her many, many concerts. Originally sung in acapella by Barry Manilow, Lea's rendition of this modern classic showcases the song's new brilliant arrangement done by Lea's brother Gerard, who was also her conductor in the concert, and of course her marvelous vocal prowess and command. Lea is just the best English-language singer in the world. A beuatiful rich voice, perfectly controlled great enunciation and extraordinary expressiveness.

How did I miss this ~ I have loved Barry's wonderful song for decades and Lea is one of my favourite Musical Theatre STARS. When you put these two thing together, you eventually notice, Yes .... there is only ONE VOICE. PERFECTION.

This is only the 2nd time I've heard this song. The first / only other time was in 1983. It was the opening song for The Crossroads Singers in a concert in Huntsville, Alabama. Some songs are powerful enough they stick with you. When I saw that title in a group of songs by Ms. Salonga, I was hoping it was this one. YAY! It was / is.

lea still maintains that quality of her voice her ranges are still great because she never shouts screams she controls her voice in a way that it cant ruin her vocal chords

Lea Salonga's cover of "One Voice" is the only cover of the song that I have heard that actually gives justice to the song. Beautiful voice!

I used to listen to this when I was a little girl, Lea would appear on the begining of a uk talent show every week as the opening act and I would watch every week just to hear her voice FANTASTIC... 25 yrs later I searched and found you...

This is such a pure and beautiful song, and Lea, and her brother, Gerard, did a really wonderful job with it, creating a very lovingly done rendition.. but the special effects, of framing and so on, just serve to interupt it.
