I'm not kidding when I say Ted Lasso saved my life during a very dark time this year. This show is affirming and life-changing and so full of heart. It deserves all the awards
@Doesn't Jump to conclusions oh ok my bad I thought it was her. She look a little bit familiar from my view. That’s why I was asking. My vision isn’t 20/20.
I an not happy for him. He should have refused it and given it to Keenan. That would be the correct thing to do. Everyone talks about Black Lives Matter till the white boys come in and take the gold
Jason is amazing in this show. He combined comedy and drama in one character so well. Also I feel like Ted Lasso cheered up so many people this couple of years.
The wrong actor won an award: the white one. Keenan Thompson deserved this more. The only difference between Trump and any other white person is a MAGA hat.
Ted Lasso has been such a heartwarming delight, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a show with such a beautiful emotional core. Ted has genuinely made my heart remember how wonderful humanity can be. An Emmy will never be more deserved in my eyes.
@@christianmcmahon1029 Kate McKinnon, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Dan Akaroid, Steve Martin, Maya Ruldolph, Kenan Thompson, Andy Samberg, Ben Stiller....good lord man.
if you havent seen it yet her commercial for door dash cracks me up everytime, the only one that makes me laugh more is Trevor Noahs door dash commercial... :))
@K. West Boy I’m black and you just sound miserable, which has nothing to do with how great this show is. Seek therapy like my boy Ted Lasso did, it will help.
@@juliansydney9819 When/where did he say that? I think you’re putting words in his mouth. You think he took the lead role in a brilliantly written comedy to “get over his break up”? I’m surprised you didn’t realize how stupid that sounds after you typed it.
@@conky221 While filming season 2 in London he went through a difficult breakup with his 9 years old partner Olivia Wild. You can see how it was reflected on his talks with the therapist Sharon episode as it was too emotional scene; he was away from his children and going through a breakup too.
I love how the Emmy’s protocols are “don’t hug, don’t personally hand over the award, don’t shake hands... but let’s have 200 people in one close room all sitting super close to each other” cuz that will hinder any covid spread 😂 😂
@@klausweasley yea that’s required in most places and people are still told to wear masks. Keep being a sheep and doing what you’re told without asking simple questions
They all have had vaccinations and negative tests, and as for sitting close to each other, they are sitting at tables with the people they work with. They are not all jammed into a room.
@@be8nice you’re not getting my point. The point is: why all these protocols? If you’re vaccinated, results came in negative, you’re sitting at tables with people you work with... why the “no hugging, no handing the award personally”? It’s just so stupid. You have a hundred people in the room already! If someone has covid, the virus is not gonna be like “hmmm you’re so close to each other, I could reach anyone if I wanted to, BUT since you’re not ‘touching’ each other I won’t” 😂
issues in relationships usually rise incrementally until someone reaches a breaking point. it's unfortunate that they are no longer together, but we don't know them personally and most of us are projecting an image onto them that doesn't necessarily exist in reality
This is a show that comes to us when we desperately needed it most. Beautiful, heartwarming, love provoking perfection. Thank you Ted, cast, writers/Producers and everyone else involved in this project. You've given us an invaluable gift.
Such a great show. I’m so glad I found it. He was generous with his speech, but let’s face it, he had the idea for the show, he pulled it together, and he’s the star. He really deserves this Emmy, and he deserves a huge thank you from all of us for giving us a very positive show during a time that too often is dark.
I love his velvet suit!! Can’t argue anything about how talented Sudeikis is portraying Coach Ted Lasso. Win as many games as you can in Ted Lasso series, Jason!! 👍
Ted Lasso is everything that's right with hope, humility, and humanity. I just started watching this show and it makes me look at everything differently, great cast, great show.
@@goku8621 hotness is one thing, it's wholly another thing to get over your relationship of 10 years with the mother of your children... And figuring out how to make that work. It's clearly weighing on him. I'm glad that this success has given him some distraction from all of that.
He sometimes wears his heart on his sleeve, and her (Olivia) PDA’s with the man child in the pearls has to cut. But, he rose to the challenge of a still breaking heart and made us laugh. God bless him.
THE WHITE LOTUS is a simplistic woke social justice propagandist critique of The Love Boat and Fantasy Island. But you are absolutely right about Jennifer Coolidge and she deserves to win next awards season.
@@cubingninja393 That is a really an interesting question. I suppose The White Lotus might fit better in the Best Comedy program categories. But the action drama series Cobra Kai was classified as a comedy by the Emmys.
I literally know no one who is watching this show. But I love it soooo much. It’s such a nice show. It has everything you need in a great show and so much more. Glad that Sudeikis won I hope the show gets more fans.
This was a show we all needed and I’m so glad it’s getting recognized as such. Full of laughter and heart and happiness. Jason is an absolute gem and he’s totally hilarious as Ted
The pure joy the entire cast has for each others wins is really incredible to watch. Ted Lasso really is one of the best shows on TV and they deserve their success!
Ted Lasso, the character, is the perfect convergence of Dr. Phil, Mister Rogers, Forest Gump and Mork from Ork....in the most delightful way!!! It's a pleasure to watch this entire cast. God bless you, Jason Sudeikis, for creating this. We needed this and you, your co-writers, and actors delivered beyond measure!!!!
Every talented actor who's been on TV has that one character that will be their signature role, Steve Carell had Michael Scott, James Gandolfini had Tony Soprano, Bryan Cranston had Walter White. Jason has definitely found his
I love that he thanks his parents and then uses their first names 😂 that just seems very Ted Lasso to me! Top performance and a thoroughly deserved accolade.
F*#%ing A. Well deserved. Great achievement for everyone involved in this series. Kill them with kindness just like Ted does** Sudeikis one more time has proved himself again as a great comedian/writer/actor. CONGRATULATIONS.
Any time I am having a horrible day, or just need some sort of pick me up I just watch Ted Lasso. It seriously is the best show right now that is very uplifting and makes you feel good and makes you want to do good. 100% they deserved all the rewards they achieved that night.
Thank God they didn’t vote for somebody else just to prove how smart they are by not making the obvious pick. Sometimes when the lineup is Michael Jordan and four guys from the local bakery and you’re choosing one for a pick up game, you pick Jordan (just an analogy, the other actors are very good). It was Ted’s/Jason’s year.
What a wonderful show on so many levels! The writing is so great, as are the characters and the acting. Congrats to Jason Sudeikis and collaborators for creating a show that re-affirms my belief in humanity. Also, Jason embodies the goodness of folks from the Midwest, which is nice to see.
Jason Sudeikis thanked Mick Napier from The Annoyance theater in Chicago during his Emmy's acceptance speech. I saw a show at The Annoyance directed by Mick Napier (who was there and introduced the show) the night before.
I've made it my personal duty to have everyone I know watch Ted Lasso. It's the kind of show we needed. Long overdue non-sarcastic, honest, good hearted comedy.
This show is everything it gives you feelings that you used to get when you watched cartoon as a kid this pure happiness that no other show can give you..... I watched it when I was depressed and it's the most amazing show that's dropped in the last two years
I’ve always loved Jason as an actor. But this show made me see him in a new light as both a creative & human. A true piece of art that is such a refresh from the rinse and repeat of tv shows
