The entire Canon of Scripture (Bible) was compiled by the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. The Holy Orthodox Church. Roman catholicism is not really Catholic. Meaning they don't agree on everything that Christians have believed throughout the centuries. The bishop of Rome dissented from the other 4 bishops out of pride. The protestants recognized this centuries later and out of pride dissented from Rome. All of the denominations have done nothing but argue and dissent from one another until now there are 30,000+ denominations. Many claiming to be the true faith. What can be said concerning all of this? In the words of Saint Peter. "save yourselves from this crooked and perverse generation. Repent and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ (the Son), for the remission of sins and you shall receive the seal of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God (the Father) will call." Acts 2:37-38 For any administering of water not in the name of the Holy Trinity and not under the authority of a bishop of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church (not Rome) is invalid.

Protestant actually has many missing books taken out my Luther and Calvin. Whom are both two men with no such authority. That’s why I follow the orthodox bible.

Hey man, I’m in a little bit of a similar situation. I am raised Catholic, but I think I’m going to convert to Protestant. I won’t go through all the reasons why, although you’re free to ask. For you, I’d suggest praying to the Lord and asking him to guide you. However, you must also seek God yourself, read the Bible, get in His Word. The Bible is the best to base your beliefs off of.
