So happy to see this! Dr. Canady was my Neurosurgeon up until she retired from Children’s Hospital in Detroit MI. I was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus in 1986 at six weeks old. She actually did my last VP shunt replacement when I was about 12 years old and I am now 37. I always wondered what she has been up to. Good to see her face and hear her voice! She still looks and sounds the same. Thank you for your skills and expertise. Life has been amazing for me and I can’t help but credit Dr. Canady for that ❤
Thank you for saving my life 14 years ago Dr. Canady ❤. I’m sure I was too out of it to be able to say that to you at the time. You did emergency surgery on me when I was 9 years old for a Germinoma brain tumor. It was in Pensacola, and I had got really sick while I was visiting my grandparents on vacation. I am an adult now and I am just starting to figure out the long term effects of my cancer treatment.

Dr. Canady did surgery on my son when he three months old. His soft spot, on top of his skull, closed prematurely. She was at Children’s Hospital in Detroit, MI in 1988. She was so compassionate. Very easy to talk to. May God continue to Bless her.
