In 2015, Slush brought together 15.000 attendees, including 1.700 startups, 800 venture capital investors and 630 journalists from exactly 100 countries. People from more than half of the world’s countries traveled to the cold and dark Helsinki, with the ambition of taking their business to the next level.
Slush is a non-profit event organized by a community of entrepreneurs, investors, students and festival organizers. Although Slush has grown from a 300-person event to become one of the leading events of its kind in the world, the philosophy behind it has remained the same: to help the next generation of great, world-conquering companies forward.

no matter what he is the real reason why Spotify came into existence. He took the risk on a guy idea. He supported Daniel Ek because he knew Spotify will be big, but the playlist Netflix shows how Daniel Ek threw him out once his use was done. I felt Daniel Ek to be selfish, eccentric, opportunistic. People listen only to successful people and Daniel should never forget this is the guy gave him that freedom to take risk.

Is Martin Lorentzon really eccentric as portrayed in The Playlist?

Maybe. He seemed a bit more energetic than your average swede

Tv/movies use a lot of poetic licence when they want to portray certain characters having said that based on what Martin is saying in the interview he is a visionary and dares to push the boundaries of whats "normal" he is charismatic and I would assume has great communication skills in bringing people together based on the vision he sees for a particular service or product. Just my thoughts

Watched Spotify show on netflix. Interesting wonder how true that story is. Think artists need to be paid more . Internet is stealing art and rewarding thiefs in my little view. .it just seems like anyway. I want to study this more..

"Playlist" has literally screwed up this noble Gentleman's reputation accusing him of not-proven condition. If I was him I'd get this to the court. No-one can share such misinformation. Only if he'd agreed with it himself.

I'm guessing all the characters highlighted were asked if they wished to be involded pre-production, but I highly doubt the production company asked for their blessing post-production. Most people know that screenwriters and directors generally allow themselves artistic freedom, so I doubt any of them really care about the public's reception of their portrayals. If there's anyone who should be, it's Ek, who was portrayed as a douchebag throughout the series. He probably is a cunt though.

I get so damn annoyed when this man starts to speak...always cocky and always have a tendency to speak when he's supposed to shut the hell up, which obviously Mr Lorentzon do not know anything of!
