In my conversations nationally, I am sometimes asked a question along the lines of… “Why do you (willingly) live in #Omaha?”
And while I wasn’t born here, I have lived here now off and on for about 35 years.
As much as we have going on now, the next 20 years are looking even more interesting. Infrastructure projects, investment in tbe urban core, streetcar, downtown developments, zoo exhibits, new community parks, commercial real estate, new museums, riverfront revitalization, and (as always) amazing restaurants. Yes, we even have an airport…. Which ALSO has a big expansion project in the works, btw.
Even more than all that, what I’m most excited about is the PEOPLE.
Over the last 10 months I had the privledge of participating in the Greater Omaha Chamber’s Leadership Omaha Class 45 with forty-eight intelligent, kind, ambitious, optimistic, collaborative, inspiring, passionate, charismatic, empathetic, determined, inclusive, and FUN humans. www.omahachamb...
It was certainly a transformative experience and I look forward to seeing what we all take away from it to make this city better for ALL.
