It's not that bad as you can see...people still going for walks, driving to get a coffee. These floods are man made, brisbane gets 100mm of rain and the river walls are over come.
@@HarryBermuda tell that to people whose homes have gone under. Brisbane isnt just the inner city. Its huge and there are many places that are underwater. My home is dry (for now) but my neighbours? Friends? Colleagues? Enemies? And everyone in-between? Yeah not everyone is under. Some people can grab a coffee or whatever. Lucky them… but others are wading waist or even neck deep to save whatever possessions are left. And then have a muddy disgusting “home” that needs repairs or complete rebuild. Or sitting on their roofs praying for rescue in this rain. My family is currently split in half with people being unable to get home. Ive just spent an hour digging a ditch to stop my yard from being a giant puddle. Im wet, freezing and pissed off that you could be so short sighted. Please you may be fine. That does not mean everyone else is.
I live in Shrewsbury UK, I know how it feels, being in the loop of the river Severn, we were flooded out last week, sent my daughter photos, who lives near Brisbane, so she is used to floods. But keep safe guys, were there 2019.
wow that was severe, all the boardwalks near the river flooded. And i fished at westend and all flooded around the trees now. thanks for posting and getting wet for us!
@@AshKyd just my opinion. there are uploads currently, that show pretty much nothing since the "filmographer" has no idea about motion. you got good stuff
This was 2 days ago very close to me, West End, Brisbane. The river has broken its banks. We are totally flooded now our basement is waste deep and pumps working overtime. No power and lifts have been out for 24 hrs. A 1000 Schools are closed and everyone is instructed to stay home. More rain is predicted.
