Hello, i just got a ziz zag machine, the thread keeps breaking when i am doing free motion embroidery. I have 40wt polyester thread, do i need stronger thread? I have ajusted the tension on the machine and bobin. Thanks
@lorenzoramirez2084 Greetings from 🌞Arizona, 🇺🇲USA🇺🇲 I have used all of the following suggestions in the past 30 years of digitizing embroidery designs and stitching them out on my embroidery machines, I hope one of these suggestions might help you.😁 🤔 1. slow your speed down 2. put in a new needle 3. make sure you have the correct needle for your thread & fabric 4. check your thread to make sure it's fresh and not bruised 5. check your bobbin tension 6. clean the bobbin shuttle 7. clean under plate that is under your feed dog 8. you might try putting a thin bead of liquid silicone (which I purchased at a bicycle shop) down the length of the spool of thread🧵. 9. adjust your tension + or = 10. make sure your machine is threaded correctly. I do hope some of these suggestions helps you or someone else.😁
