I wouldnt play this on the show Frash. I love LoL, but the community is SO TOXIC. If you play this on a show you will get reemed for every mistake you make. I watch Pro players stream and yet people still bitch and complain at them the entire show.

League of Legends is free to play. You can unlock new characters by purchasing them with the in-game currency you earn by playing the game or with real money. Every week, 10 characters are cycled that you can try for free. You can honestly get every single character in the game and every runes(these are stat boosters) without spending a single penny. There is a leveling system were the max level is 30. The reason for the leveling system is so people can learn how to play the game. Once you hit level 30, ranked mode opens up. In the ranked system there are currently 6 ranks from worst to best: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, and challenger. The first of the 5 ranks has 5 divisions in each rank, 5 being the worst while 1 is the best. As for challenger, that is for the 200 best players of each region(the majority are pro players). Some people will say stuff like "league has such a toxic community" but they are wrong. Every single online community has assholes and the small minority will always be the loudest. Riot now has a system that if it a person acts toxic in game, they get chat banned for certain amount of games(20 to 500 games). Also, if you say any racist or homophobic remarks, you automatically get banned for 14 days. You do keep repeating being toxic, you are perma banned. If you ever make a VGA show on this game, League does have a spectator mode.

The community is very large, and the championships are enjoyable to watch as well as fun to play. Yes the video is long and shows battles BUT if you played the game you would understand why. Each character showed a fair amount of their abilities. Nautilus and Ahri's are the most obvious, especially if you watch a gameplay of them. You would recognize their moves in the trailer. I love it.
I think it'd be cool if you tried this on the show, but Frash please limit who you play with to turbo's, at least until you've gotten a good idea on how to play. The biggest problem LoL has is that its community is incredibly toxic, and generally doesn't take kindly to new players.
It has a decent ranking system but the thing is you have to get your account to level 30 to start playing it and the way to that is either playing vs bots, taking a lot time and not being good enough to enter the ranking system or playing with real people in "normal"(unranked) games but a lot of them are actually good player creating other accounts so the best way to get into it would be to make a forum part or something to play LoL with turbos.
One reason why League of Legend got so huge, fan base/world around it, was because community was already there to play first successful market game. Mostly it was from players who were bored of playing DotA as Warcraft 3 mod.

Time passes, and as LoL had more easy to access than DotA back then (you needed to have Warcraft 3, log in to battle.net and then create or look for DotA game) and as it became easy to access, more people came to play it. Its greatest perk is being best "moba" game whit no real competition until others wanted to get to market as well, and it is still best by playerbase and community. Still, one thing might been Pendragons decision to shut DotA website before he went work for Riot.
ThreeFreyPies you honestly don't think it was a snowball effect ? obviously the Dota WC3 fanbase wasn't 10 million when it came out, but the fact you can start out your game with a large playerbase is bound to have a MASSIVE snowball effect, if you can look at the amount of players it has gained over the past 2 years you'll see right away how much it has increased it's also one of the reasons it's become such a casual game, the widespread publicity has forced it to adjust towards casual players, and that's one of the reasons Professional LoL is a joke game's fun, but the community and the "pro scene" is a joke in itself

Their characters are so rich, it is so awesome. Every single one of them have some type of lore that gives them purpose to fight and join the ''league of legends'' The lores are about: Mysteries, legends, rivals, siblings, wars, deaths, revenge, tricksters, sins, legend entities, justice, murders and much more.

Y'all talk so much and then you miss so much and then make comments that can be answered. React to the video not go off on a tangent during as if you forgot you were reacting because subscribers subscribe to reaction channels for their reaction and if you aren't actually reacting then it defeats the purpose
All I can say FrashFrash that LoL completely ruined my relationship with my Ex-gf and I'm glad I quit the game. Now I'm spending my free time to play games that I missed like Dark Souls and Darksiders 2 and It's 10 times fun than a community that keep on screaming for every mistakes you make.
Well, I did say I had problems with LoL but I never said it’s a bad game, I still think it’s a great game and riot doing a good job keeping the game updated, and the modes they added in the game later are extremely fun but then the community keep on getting serious with everything and they start yelling for everything you do, and after a while playing the modes I enjoyed the most I found myself that I cannot keep playing it because the game is all around team-based but the players always think they are “the masters” and try to act solo most of the time, then when they lose they leash it on everyone even in modes like ARAM where you supposed to just have fun, the only time I might come back to the game if they added “Ultra Rapid Fire” (I think that it’s called) again because that was the most fun I had with the game. But you know what they say in the end, don’t hate the game, hate the players… or something like that.

Honestly its not that hard to get into League. After a few games you understand who should be where, and what to do. Same goes with you character which should only take you 1 game to understand that persons play style. Not only that but its free to play. They rotate 10 characters every week for people to play as them for free. Then by playing you accumulate IP which is what you use to buy the characters, or runes. Runes being buffs for you to have on your character.
Yeah, I don't know... at least for DotA2 you're expected to invest about 300 hours to become /semi-competent/ apparently, and the game is very arcane and overwhelming in many ways. I'm waiting for Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm to get a public beta - just don't have the time or nerve to do DotA2.

I prefer Valve's Dota 2, I believe it will overcome LoL in popularity eventually, it pays way more money to pros than LoL(This year's championship's prize pool was 10.9 million $ and there are other tournaments going on non-stop). Besides, Dota 2 is ACTUALLY free to play, unlike LoL, no advantage at all can be gained by spending real money, all heroes are free to play from the beginning, also it's created by my favorite game company ever - Valve.
Not being able to counter-pick properly due to not having every champ sounds like a F2P disadvantage to me. Never did I say Dota 2 was better or more popular, I said I prefer it.
