Playing league of legends might seem like waste of time but for some of us it is an experience that taught us some things that we didn't know we needed in our life
I am 31 years old. I started playing league 10 years ago and I have zero regrets. As long as you manage your game time I do not see it any different than watching a football game, series or whatever the fuck other people spend their nights on when they don't have better things to do. I manage a decent/to good job, have a wife and a kid. Listen, if you like playing league. Play it. Don't overthink it.
So, I feel like you missed two phases. You have the phase where you get tired of ranked and decide to just fuck around and have fun doing dumb shit, and the relapse where you get more competitive again and want to win, often spurred by your teammates harsh words about your style of play, which, although barrable for a few hours, begin to grate into you after about a week of this nonstop abuse. These two phases are unique in that they can repeat indefinitely until you reach the next stage.
I’m new to this game (comparably) and holy shit this is exactly what is happening to me Feels like I should stop playing this game because no other game has done this before, but at the same time I don’t have anything else that I want to play ;-;

i started leauge about 7 months ago or so, started off fun quickly got addictive and negativly impacting my health, but i have to thank azzap because his views on the never ff never dodge mentality and his ability to deal with the game so stoicly, i started applying that and leauge became fun, i then started applying the same mindset to my real life and it started positivly effecting my life as well. so yeah leauge (thanks to azzap) chnaged my life (for the better)
One way league had improved my life is when i tried learning how to improve and climb up the ranks i learned things like: Don't blame the team see what were your mistake, and to have good mental that every game is winnable, really are life lessons that are applying to a lot of things in life not just in league.
@@malyman316 lol, another thing i learned when wanting to improve in league is that 33% of the games you play will be lost out of your control usually by teamates so that kept my mental better and you always can do better in league since its such a complex game
Finally somone talk about this, I noticed.long time ago that LOL being so hard and people being so toxic was a good training to be more prepared for the life
i used to look at league that certain way but that was when i was a teen 8 years ago! today is just a competitive game for me to have fun and rage on like everyother game ! we once grow up and realize we never gonna be like faker.. yupp you never lied !!!
I have been feeling this for a while , so I agree with the video . In addition to what you described in the video , for me to clime from iron 4 to plat 2 was a journey . First I had to realize that I wasn't as smart as I thought . After that I learned what effort truly is . I thought I was trying before but I wasn't , for me to climbed I had to discover that you cant give 50% or 60% you have to give 900 in a thousand . In the end I was only talented enough to reach plat 2 and drop to silver after I stopped giving so much effort BUT let's see what happens if I put all this effort to something am actually talented at like music or drawing anyways a little bit of a runt sorry
strange thing for me was, when i was able to get alot of fun with lol even with all his bullshit, that was the moment i quitted, my mental got to challenger, no reason to play anymore, i won
I can relate to what you say. But the reason for league beeing good for you, is that life is the same struggle as soloQ ranked until 4 am isnt something i wanted to hear.💀

For me it was indeed a waste of time, cause i just played casually, but still played a lot, and used it to escape reality, guess it depends on its use, i stopped playing league and almost any games, i come back to backpack battles for a fast game session, but thats about it, Its similar with anime, but i think i learned more watching anime than playing league, like morals and values, and the most important, japanese. I guess what i want to say is, dont blame the game, but the player, it depends a lot of the circumstances of the person playing, it can be bad or it can be good, like you say. Im currently learning stuff from watching redpill stuff, gym stuff and david goggins, started exercicing, and getting out of my comfort zone, how i wish i knew the stuff i know now when i was 20. Im 30 now.
Theres also one phase, before you quit for a year or so you ruin few games for others so they know your pain😂😂💀 Leauge is not what it used to be , rank is really badly optimized and people play in ranks they dont actually deserve , its the biggest problem. If you are in plat( because of old account) you actually play with new players that belong to Iron , sometimes bronze, and usually enemy team is around diamond level. Leauge needs massive changes otherwise it will be remembered as most tocix game ever created
I think mixing league with learning stuff and doing all other neceseties is actually better, saying play league while you can cause it forges you, is simply copium.
Some people just miss the point You are a terrible person if you make your objective to be hateful in this video game. This *isn't* just a video game to a large fraction of the player base, and if you are willing to actively int, buy a new account and just ruin peoples games all over again then its also not just a game to you
