As someone who has been involved in digital production for years, I can say that it is certain that millions of people will look for and find all kinds of tricks to turn it to their advantage, especially if it is a software that creates a competitive environment. This does not mean that the software is bad or incomplete. Even if you test something thousands of times, someone can come up with something else. Humans are chaotic creatures and controlling chaos is the most difficult thing in the world. All these discovered vulnerabilities are actually proof of how chaotic humans are and are trying to look for opportunities for their own benefit. Those who adapt and evolve to chaos continue to live. That's why Riot is standing. Because it does its job well in this sense. Otherwise, the League would have long since disappeared into the leaves of history. So if you love something and discover a vulnerability, let the manufacturer/developer know so they can fix it. This way you can support what you love. This is true for everything. I'm not just saying these things for the League.

Heyo, just a heads up about the Neeko exploit if anyone was curious. I'll do a quick explanation to why it happens. In online multiplayer games, we communicate to the server by sending packets. When we right click, we send a packet to the server saying you're right clicking at X, Y, Z and then moves your character to that position for other clients. The same goes for abilities, and with Neeko, you send a packet with the ID of the entity you want to transform into. Which in hindsight, was never checked to see if it's a valid entity, and just assumed you could transform into it, as the validation is checked on the client, they bypassed that, and instead directly sent a packet to the server which it assumed was okay. Causing Neeko to turn into entities it genuinely shouldn't turn into. Leading to broken autoattacks and abilities hardcoded into the entities she's turned into.

there is also a Riven teleport bug, if you press E into a certain wall - you teleport not so far away. Saw Adrian Riven do it. Kinda hard to pull of. But I am sure it still works
Two important ones: karthus leaving base before you should be able to, allowing you to get the fastest Death possible. Poppy being able to damage everyone from base using q.

Xerath Qing the spawn fountain to hit everything, the early game exploit where you could exceed the maximum amount of points in a single mastery (Leading to Caitlynn Level 1 with 200AD a d Dr Terrible's famous Singed video), Neeko turning into a chicken with 3 attack speed, people hacking to turn their autos into abilities, etc
@@LegendofPoro If you need more of them: Maokai+guardian angel could be used to "cancel" games (the game would just disappear server-side), so you could play ranked without the risk of losing. And there was a period of time when you could cancel the back animation, for instant back (at first discovered with riven, but worked with more champions). And I guess you could add a funny one: redirecting skillshots with flash (without affecting the visual effect). Like using Lux ult towards your base and flashing to the opposite direction would create the damage "zone" of the ult towards the opposite direction, but the visual effect would still be towards your base, ie. invisible laser for your opponents :)
Hey just some small clarification about the 2014 Azir exploit. It wasn't an Azir exploit but an Ashe one. Through a third party program Ashe was able to give allies and enemies her frost arrow passive. On some champions this did nothing, on others it made their auto attacks deal no damage, on most it caused their autoattack to also trigger an ability. For Azir this ability was his turret spawn. You can see also on Azir's buffs in the clip that he has the Ashe frost passive

Surprised the Rek'sai bug is not here. She could one-shot just about anything in the game by tunneling and coming out again. She had to do this weird angling but if she did it right, she could basically just take objectives or champ kills for free. I remember having to ban her all the time when that happened for a period
I don't remember the exact bug, but shortly after viego came out, there was some bug involving dark seal where you could get like 700 trillion AP or something crazy with viego's possession shenanigans, 1-shotting towers with a 2 billion damage hit, i fondly recall that ruining games for a little while
We used to try the exploits ourselves in 3v3 Twisted Tree. We didn't think it was "as bad" because it was only affecting 3 people instead of 5.... ahhhh youthful ignorance
Heres a fun one for you. Back in the days of twisted treeline, Vi could charge through Vilemaw with her Q and push Vile slightly. Ive had games where I would push Vile into enemy base just for the fun of it.

A fun bug that was in the game for like 12 years was the Darius r smite minion giving you full passive i dont think it works anymore but it was used by a lot of ppl )
