I think the relegated teams won’t find things as easy in League One as they think. I think only one of these teams will win promotion, possibly Rotherham, as they have already bought a number of players.
Mansfield has Nigel Clough. A name that has attraction. He took Berton from none league to the Championship. We've already signed Lee Gregory, Current Australian International Keanu Baccus, as well as a left back with plans to sign more. We already have a few league 1 players in our squad already for example, Aden flint and DKD. I think we'll be mid table, which I would be happy with this season.
JCH was used as a sub last season because he was in the last year of his contract - a club policy. I think if he’d started games, he would have scored enough goals to win Posh automatic promotion to The Championship. We’re llikely to sell one or two good players, including captain Harrison Burrows (League One’s player of the season). If we can recruit good replacements, we’ll be pressing for automatic promotion, as we’re sick and tired of the play-offs lottery - Posh were a better team than Oxford.
Everyone predicted us (Crawley) to finish bottom of League Two last season and look what happened. Orsi is under contract for another year and going nowhere. 👍
Thanks for that. Orsi will be key to next year. Like I said, I was worried he would be snapped up. Keeping him would be a huge step to that middle section of the table. Good luck, I enjoyed the playoff final.
@@jpseekings The problem is our spending big is others mediocre spending. With us building a much needed new stand. Staying up will suffice for now. Good luck to Rotherham too
It won’t be as easy for Wrexham as you think yes they will be one of the highest spenders and they’ve done well in both league two and the national league but league one is a massive jump and it’s also a very competitive league one this year so they might struggle to even get playoffs
Bit early yo do a predictions vlog. There's still a long way to go until the start of the season whereby most clubs haven’t really started to recruit or sell. Surely it would be better to do it on the week prior to the start of the season
I wanted to put one out before and one after to record my thoughts and get your opinions on your club progress. Please sub and follow next years watchalongs.
lol hudds have no money problems in fact total opposite we have a billionaire owner ! Dont need to sell players and we’ve got a large pot to recruit players in this window . I’ve not read anywhere we’ve money problems think you’ve read documents from last year when Hoyle was selling us .
I will be doing my Championship predictions on Sunday afternoon, so keep a look out. Plymouth will find next year a bit easier I think. The home form needs extending to away form, but I don't see any really bad teams next year. Thanks for the comment, keep an eye out Sunday.
Bookies have you in top eight. But lots of cash being thrown at this. No fps so Birmingham Wrexham will be hard to beat. Plus Huddersfield Rotherham and a Charlton build. But carry on as you finished and enjoy next year.
Taken from your owners statements to Yorkshire Live. It showed an understanding of millions of pounds less income and a need last year to rationalise the business. With his understanding of bad business decisions this is a financial risk. Thanks for listening
I'd agree unless we adequately replace our outgoings. Darrell Clarke as head coach and Conor Hourihane coming in is a good start. Need more of the same in the next few weeks
