Me at first: What a moronic idiot, coming from league to ruin our games. DAMN YOU NOOB. DAMN YOU TO HELL Me now: Nice work! Keep up the good job! @@studeogames
You know what, I enjoy watching someone getting better at DotA like a glimpse of me back on the days. And I believe u will keep getting better and better. Keep it up man
I used to play lots of Dota and HoN but now mostly play league, it's fun seeing someone from lol learn the game that got me hooked back when I was a teen.
@@studeogames For a second I thought it was a genuine question and I was ready to help. Then I realized HoN is more than dead and your question is most likely sarcasm. *sleep deprived moment*
@@studeogames lmao, no worries bro. anyway... "Heroes of Newerth" was originally made as a port so DotA wouldn't be restricted to what the Warcraft 3 engine had to offer. Developed by S2 Games and IceFrog (One of DotA's developers, who eventually became Valve's Dota 2 lead developer). He gave permission and supported in the very early days. Essentially, it was Dota 2, before Valve decided to make their own DotA clone 2 years later with IceFrog on their team.
The thing in DOTA 2 that league players really would struggle with is clickable items since there's only a handful of them in league and forgetting to activate items whilst in combat is pretty common even among DOTA players. But this is a great performance overall.
Great video, man! I can literally feel your excitement about this game. Plus, I love Clinkz so mush!!! @TZAR_POTATO Thanks for this great coaching session :3 I think that it is a great idea to have few types of video for posting on RU-vid. Let the Livestream Highlights be a separate genre of video on this channel. All the best to you, @StudeoGames. See ya)
btw, for the editor: if you really _have_ to use the among us sounds for the kills, at least try to actually sync them with the kill, and make them a little less loud. they were very distracting imo
Glad to see you're enjoying dota! Back and forth games really give the best gaming highs and are more common in Dota than they are in League. It might have taken 60 min to close out this game, but it's a good 60 min. It's hard to be mad when both teams are making mistakes but are also doing their best to claw their way back into the game. It's hard to get those games in League when 1 mistake snowballs a lane out of control or being out of position for 1 second gets your team killed with turrets melting like paper in the late game.
Tzar is an excellent coach but you look like a promising student as well. Solid mechanics from what I see AND you're listening, this just cannot go wrong
wow it was really worth it in the league you will meet this very rarely glad that you are progressing in dota tsar potato is just very cool the enemies made a very popular mistake of not putting sentry and not buying dust I want to see how you play the Primal Beast or Nyx or Visage
4:05 also on ranged heros, shooting from low ground up to high ground you have a 20% miss chance (or 25% i forgot) so as clinkz u always wanna be on high ground or level
Clinkz counter would be defensive items like ghost scepter, force staff, sentries around the map and never walking alone but all those things didnt exist on lower bracket so this hero is way too strong in this bracket.I use it in my bracket and always finish the game 17/1 cause people didnt even know how to play aginst it
People learning Dota 2 again is like rewatching myself back when I was starting, except that I started at Dota and moved to League then back to Dota again, it's a fresh feeling and it feels nice to watch. Hope you get to play with other League players who also wanna try Dota, hopefully aswell, with a coach too.
no no, you gotta find some mates to do combos with. I don't play much dota anymore. But Lane combos and end game wombo combos. You can do it with 2 or 3 or 5 people. That is where dota shines!!@@studeogames
Hey Mr. Editor, some criticisms. You're doing great on captions and cuts, don't change anything there. But you have made the video slightly more annoying to watch with the audio balance. The kill memes are often too loud and repetitive. No it's not that you shouldn't do it or do less, it's that the energy of those things are far higher than what's going on with the streamer and coach and it's also most of what that you've done. Like, man, you have moments where the streamer is clearly staying quiet in "I gotta listen to this shit man, this is Knawleg, Golden Wisdom" and you never follow up on that with the clips, but do with the machine gun guy. In fact I think that the only thing you did aside from kills was focus on time on TZAR's frustration. There's more to take from here. You also used the same bone breaking sound 5 times in a row in what was clearly a very distant set of kills, which takes away from the in the moment "storyline" of the edit. You shouldn't do things that distrsct from the content, well, you absolutely should, but not too much and on the same note. Write down the edit strategies you already came up with, don't throw them out or stop doing it, but get more clips, check the sound level, figure out if you can build up or build down with some music. Match the energy, or build the energy you want. (look up a ymfah video, they're all 100% driven by editor work and generally top of the line for this stuff). You were kinda dealt a bad hand, having to edit content that has a conversation hapenning (coach + streamer) which is harder to do than a single person stream. But you can do better without staying off the style.
Thanks for the feedback! I asked for the edits to be a bit more than just a compilation and therefore have some edits. I’ll transfer the message (if I do another of these) and use it for next time! Thanks 🫡
@@studeogames well, we all know that Warcraft 3 has its map on the left side so should be in Dota. League tried to go opposite but if you prefer it that way whp are we to stop you (If I ever launch League I'll go for left-side map as the ancestors bequeathed to us)
