I had hit the like button on this song just before my trip to Russia to listen to it more as I traveled. ( first turned onto you by a recommended video for new haircut ) 2 weeks into my trip I suffered a brain aneurysm and went to and still am in a Moscow hospital where believe me, this song has become the theme song of this trip. I’ve listened to it over and over again in my hospital bed, almost like I was meant to hear this song later when it would hit harder. And man did it hit! So I’m writing this comment here so I can always go back and remind myself what I want to tell my future/ new self. Lay off the chemicals. The cigs. The sugar. Let it go man. It’s just not worth it. It even pains my eyes to write this as the operation messed with my light sensitivity but I HAD to share this story and comment and say thank you for such an amazing song to come into my life at just the right moment. Got accidentally introduced to this song by my ex when it came on while listening to our Blended Spotify playlist and I kept going back to it and then decided to listen to the rest of his music and my god. Petey is legit one of my favourite artists now, just so incredible. It's been really helping through the breakup, and hilariously my ex went to see him in Toronto the day after we broke up 😂.
