i agree feeding the cards in is way less time with the epson 510. guessing your cards are coming already sorted by player? So your script cvs file is so the buyer can see all the cards wout you creating a variation style listing? Just sell the binders as is. That will become the death pile problem for your set up. Can you help the hobby to switch over to green painters tape vs blue? blue is too sticky as a buyers experience to open up cards? perf hanging bubble wrap ftw. Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy your video's even tho i'm not selling cards like you across the board. Always enjoy seeing another reseller share there processes to learn from. I am rebuilding my area late summer this year.
Yeah, cards almost always come in pre-sorted based on how I source and accept consignments. This is key. I ended up pulling the cards out of the sleeves in the binder with my 3 year old cuz she likes to “go help daddy work” and can actually pull cards for me without damaging too many lol. Will look into the green painters tape. Don’t think I’ve ever seen it but if it’s better then I will 100% switch. Really glad you like the videos! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Paul, what is your thought process on your lot auctions? Specifically, I'm curious about the $8 shipping. I thought you were a free shipping guy. Are you hoping to make a couple bucks on shipping even if the auction price doesn't go high?
My goal is just to turn over old inventory (what I have left from December 2023) that didn’t sell at a markdown. I do the $8 shipping because it’s a flat rate whether the buyer wins 1 lot or 10 lots so it covers (almost) any scenario so I don’t lost money on shipping.
Not much. I’ve only done $1100 in sales and added 672cards since I started using them but the profit is great. I use the credits to buy cards to ship back to me for selling on eBay or in my booth. Have almost 1000 more cards to send them next time they do a special.
