Yeah totally. In Canada people barely know her yet she’s the greatest talent I know. She has been since the day I heard her and she’s got the eyes of an angel ❤
A lot of us "daddy's girls" grew up with Fathers who were so dedicated to their careers, not because they loved the business, but because they wanted to give us, his wife and children, everything he could. My dad passed away in 2012 at the age of 74. He was that kind of man and I miss him terribly.
@@Leavetheherd good fathers, absolutely. My dad grew up in Virginia, coal mining country. His grandfather was a miner. He knew he never wanted to be in dire straights like he had observed watching the miners around the company store (his father managed, employed by the mining company because of his prowess in math).
@Rowan Warren. My dad was an Executive for Mr. Peabody. He was gone every week traveling to mining sites in the western half of this country. He died at the age of 44 from a heart attack. I was 17. Every time I hear this song it strikes a nerve and sheds tears. I am now 61, and wish my children would have known their grandfather. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. This song sounds like it was written based on my relationship with him. Hugs to my coal mining sister.
Oh my… I have always loved to hear LeAnn Rimes sing. It does make you cry. Might as well have tissues with this. The way she sings you loose it! Love LeAnn and Reba big time!
She did such a beautiful rendition of this song. I love Reba’s version and I love this one too. Also, Leann’s dress is utterly gorgeous and she looks amazing in it.

I've been to 12 LeAnn Rimes Concerts over the years and this video shows the class and the beautiful singing Talent LeAnn has, seeing this beautiful young lady with so much talent has been a true pleasure for me.

Leanne Rimes is such an underrated performer and she is fantastic some of her actual song's were not always the best (in my opinion) but she has always had a fantastic voice
This song cuts hard. The greatest man i never knew, my grandfather who never had a relationship with me or his son my dad. This was caused by my grandmother, who poisoned our minds against him. On the day of his funeral we heard stories about the fact he had played league football, and was the best right back in Swansea. To old for active service in WW2, he was sent to Germany to repatriate. He fed starving kids, and in his 40s was still good enough to keep younger league players out of the Army football team. After he passed I found countless football, cricket and rugby medals he had won in the 20s. Growing up I could have done with a sporting hero, and I was denied one within my family. What this did for me to make my relationship with my Dad and Uncle so important to me. I looked after them both in their final years and I miss them both now they have passed. But to give them comfort in their final years was the least I could do for the lifetime of love and care that they had given me.. RiP guys I love u and miss you xx

She isn't very nice in person. I had to work with her on an event and it was a nightmare. I LOVE her voice though. I think she is extremely talented and I have always been a fan.
So talented....and a truly beautiful person in all ways. She always seems to put so much of herself into her performances.... the mark of a truly great artist.

It is sad song but I really like the song reminds of my relationship with my dad. It really reminds me of my relationship with my grandfather who passed.
Comparing Apples to oranges. Reba is the queen. No one does country like Reba. Her inflections and vocal personality is something no other artist does. LeAnne is a powerhouse singer with a twang. Beautiful and a sophistication all of its on.
