Quelle heure est-il? It would be great if you can make a video about time and how to tell time in french.

Hi Paul, that's a great suggestion. I'll plan one for my next shooting day. I already have a few videos already taped that will be coming out soon but I'll add time to my list. Thanks for the suggestion! 😊

When I hear the Canadian French pronunciation of a word that ends in eux it sounds like ‘er’. Are you adding a bit of an ‘r’ sound?

Hi Eliezer, this is indeed a tough sound because there is no equivalent in English but there is no 'r' sound, even with the Canadian French pronunciation 😉. When 'eu' is at the end of a word like heureux (happy), peureux (scared) or bleu (blue) for example, the sound should be like the beginning of the word Earl. But only the 'ea' part of 'earl', not the 'rl' part. International French tends to have a sharper sound, that may be why you hear a difference with the Canadian French, but there should be no 'r' in either one. I hope this helps a bit 😉

@@LearnCanadianFrenchwithNat Thank you! It definitely helps! Is it the same with the word 'un'? Un sounds like 'are' to me when I hear it spoken in Canadian French.

@@erikeliezer the nasal sound 'un' would be more similar to the 'ea' sound in the word 'learn'. This is the standard pronunciation for this letter combination, however I think that people that speak international French like in France, have transitioned the 'un' sound to 'in'. Here's a short video from another RU-vid creator and linguist that explains this difference: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z3LkHhAWPpc.html. I hope this clarifies it a little 🙂
