I wish this kind of language education was available 28 years ago when I lived in Austria for 18 month. The way you teach is trully amazing, and the number of uploaded videos speaks volume about your dedication to teach the language. You are amazing. Very well organized without jumping all over the topics. I really like the focused approach in all your lessons. Es macht schon 28 Jahre dass ich habe keine deutsch gesprochen als jetzt ich im Kanada lebe. Ich freuche mich das mit diesen videos it habe moglicheiten zum erfrischen meine Deutschsprachkenntnise. Hallo Jenny. Ich hab viele Antwort auf diesen Video gesehen. Wenn ich auf deutsch die Sätze nicht verstehe, lese ich Untertitel auf Englisch. Ich bin damit zufrieden. Außerdem bin ich für deine Meinung und dein Konzept. Manchmal fühle ich mich von deinen bespiele Sätze voll, glücklich . Ich kann noch mehr das erklären . Danke für deine schöne Herzen.

Dear Jenny, was looking for a course with a start and finish and found your lecture one to 76 in You tube and studying it. In NY I have no opportunity to talk german so your course is the best for me. I go to Berlin every couple of months ,hopefully I will speak german there next time,thanks to you.

In der Schweiz schließen Supermärkte normalerweise um 18.30 Uhr und am Samstags um 17 Uhr. Und vor allem müssen wir nicht vergessen dass am Sonntags fast alle geschlossen sind 😁

I'm assuming in the sentence "aber ich muss jetzt los" the verb to leave/go is understood and not necessary. Is this also true in more formal speaking?
er ist wie angewurzelt stehen geblieben (He stood dead in his tracks) What do you mean by this sentence, "he stopped dead in his tracks"??never heard of it
i'm not sure if this is too late.. but it means to stop suddenly because something happened. either because of something scary or something surprising. for example: I stopped dead in my tracks when i heard a scream in the forest
I'm a little confused about the sentence "Es gibt in Bayern keine Geschäfte, die langer als 20 Uhr geöffnet haben." Why does it end in "haben" and not "sein"? Shouldn't it be saying there are no businesses that *are* open past 20 Uhr, rather than say there *aren't* any businesses that "opened" after 20 Uhr?
