Granted, in our tradition, it's not mediation for the sake of something else - ad majorem Dei gloriam - but I think the effects are evidenced in either case. Miss our Latin conversations in Rome. Simple, concise advice without conjecture or pseudoscience. Thanks for the video. You should consider making a video describing your daily routine. When you wake, exercise, eat, study/work, etc.

But what if I don't know how to meditate How or where can I learn it?

Way ahead of you XDXDXD. For beginners like myself, guided meditation is probably the best option. Sam harris has a great one, there’s also one i really like from Alan Watts, and Tara Brach releases new guided mediations every week on her website. Meditation has really helped me, especially with focus and calm. Been skipping out on it theses, past couple of days though XDXD

I don't get it. To save time learning a language, you spend an hour per day doing nothing but thinking about your breathing, and that's supposed to save time? Maybe this could help people who suffer from stress, but for anyone else, it just seems like a waste of time. I have no trouble focusing at all, but this means I can spend too long doing things and need to be careful not to waste time. The idea of wasting an hour per day is unthinkable to me.
