You didn't "learn a language in a week". You refreshed the knowledge that you once learnt in an entire year, within a week. It's still impressive to see how you speak and write Japanese (which I don't). But it's misleading to say "learn a language in a week".
Hi I'm Japanese and I always watch your video to brush up on my English. I'd like you to keep uploading and I hope you and I can improve our foreign language skills.
Learn English with Papa Teach Me Your channel has helped me a lot, I just love it. I have to say I just got really happy you replied, I was not expecting it 😊
Sir, I have been your subscriber since so long. And this is by far my favourite. It's so great to see a teacher being a student sharing some amazing tips, which so happens to be so important for me at the moment. Thank you so much sir.
I have been learning English for 16 years! I put so much blood and tears on that, and now, my efforts getting pays off! I may drop by on your Face book sometimes!!
My focus at the moment is to learn English. In my opinion, learning two languages at the same time isn't a good idea. After C2 in English, Japanese will be the next. I loved this language so much.
Aly, with every video I love you more and more!!! I love learning new languages and I totally agree with your suggestions!!! It's weird to see you as a student!!
Aly, that's awesome! I found the scene of your date with the Japanese girl so funny. Haha, she likes guys with hair but you don't have any hair.😂😂 Don't be sad Aly.😄 Cheer up!
I actually learned english from youtube ... and also translating some words helped me .. now i can do a conversation or understand anyone talking in english.. now I'm just learning some grammar
Hello Aly ✌️ I just got into your videos a couple of days ago and now found this video of you leaning Japanese (I’m Japanese btw) 😂 Well I’m telling you, falling in love with someone who speaks that language is definitely the best way - that’s how I leant English 😛 Anyway.. thanks for the videos, very informative! x
Yeeey thanks for this video, you posted it just when I started my endeavour to learn Hungarian with the goal to speak it in a couple of months! :) Crazy goal, but now I started and there's no turning back. Still, guess I'll be turning to this video whenever my hope levels drop (given the difficulty level of the language that means very often haha)
Hi Tamara! I am hungarian! I can teach you hungarian, and you can teach me english! We can make a good deal :) Write to me if you also think it's a good idea!
my english language is daily going to improve so I everyday i am watching your video Aly .you are loooking gorgeous and perfect teacher. who want to learn english is this video is really useful all of us .
" Guys with cool hair styles..." whaaat? How can you want hair when Aly sits right in front of you?! Wish we had a date...I would get better at english instantly. Since I watch english or american RU-vidrs my vocabulary and pronounciation got so much better. At work I have to speak english every day, but only 10% of the people I talk to on the phone or in person are native speakers...so I am very happy when my UK colleagues call and I get a conversation with them. Love it! Love english more and more. But you have to practise, like you said. A bit everyday. Have a nice evening Aly :)
Great and fun lesson Papa!! You're the funniest teacher I've never meet in my whole life! I thought that British teachers were more serious but I was wrong obviously. Thanks for teaching us!
Superb Ali I have got nice idea from you this is very useful for me and definitely within this year I will try to speak in English fluently with confidently. Thank you
woah so many thanks^^ I'm learning right now korean so it's still difficult cuz it's so different than english and some words didn't still stuck in ma head so, i'ts kinda frustrating.. I'm in love with korea language (not with a person yet :v) but yeah u.u..... ptt: japanese person may thinking bout: are you Saitama in real life? :v ... I love your accent btw (it's a little bit different than other british persons)
Hi Aly, thank you for your useful advice. I'm learning Japanese and I love watching anime with subtitles, it really helps me to learn new vocabs; while talking to other learners is a good way too, but I dont have many... so that's my learning tip: anime with subtitles! :p
Wow! Awesome! So funny & interesting! I follow your page long time and it quite improves my English. Now I'd like to learn another language. Can you recommend page for French learning? Thank you so much.
素晴らしいです!!Though Japanese is such a difficult language, you're trying to learn it hard. This motivates me to learn English more. By the way, your Japanese is cute 😆Actually your Japanese is improving and becoming better. 応援しています!頑張ってください!
Sorry I fell asleep. |-0 That's exactly how I feel also. And I think second language lerners shoud learn from native speakers. Sometimes I do language exchange. Oh, you are an Ukrainian. I can't pronounce your name in Ukrainian. :-e I live in near Kobe.
Thank you for explaining about pronunciation of your name. Old stuff and new stuff exist together in Kobe. If you like old and cheap stuff, I recommend motoko town, but Kobe has a serious problem. The Japanese mafia that is called "Yakuza", especially "Yamaguchi-gumi" is based in Kobe. They are the biggest "Yakuza" in Japan, but few years ago, they has split and has had a conflict with each other. A bodyguard was shot to death in daylight recently. So Kobe became a dangerous city in Japan.
I loved your tip of fall in love for that language or for someone who speaks that language. Well I don’t understand the tip very well but understand the message haha Great video!
Aly,you are awesome😁I didn't believe that I can understand a English video untill I saw your video😂 .Thanks a lot Aly, you really encouraged me.Subscribed and thumb. Hope your channel will getting better.😄
I was able to tell he wasn’t good at Japanese at 2:12 as soon as he said “konichiwa” when it should be “konnichiwa” I’ve been learning for 5 years and I was able to understand what the lady was asking 😧 this video made me realize that all my hard work is paying off🥺😌
Man, what a perfect timing. I was thinking about learning a new language just _yesterday_ . Not sure yet which I should go for though (I wish I could learn them all at once!).
Cool Aly, I'm from Mexico but I'm in China since 17 days ago, my English is poor but I'm okay, I don't speak Chinese, well, excellents tips and you are an awesome teacher, thanks a lot, Kind regards from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics
😂😂 You've been my favourite British teacher since I decided to move to London and you're learning Japanese!! 😂😂 So impressed and appreciate your trying learning a foreign language yourself as well to understand what that is like to non natives to learn English. I think I've seen the TV program you were in and the Golden Eggs was popular in my teenage. And I don't care if you don't have hair 😂😂😂❣
アリーさんも日本語の勉強頑張ってください📣 Oh...I didn’t know my most favorite English teacher is interested in Japan and learning Japanese. The same as You learned Japanese from Japanese animation,I’m learning English from movie and music!Someday I want to understand all it without subtitles 😎 I hope your Japanese skill becomes better and someday I want to talk with you in English and Japanese!
Being able to speak Japanese myself makes watching this super interesting. The Japanese teacher was so cute jeez. My successful point in learning Japanese imo was definitely motivation. I had extremely high motivation cuz I learned through watching animes. The pronunciation, the tenses, the slangs, speaking and listening, all of those you can possibly learn from anime. Which lets me learn Japanese to the level to speak to Japanese normally in maybe just 2 years. Which i may not be able to although i learned English from elementary school.
Hey there..Thanks a lot for all of your videos..you're just AWESOME..I am a univ English student with diploma and I am Algerian;who is interesed in the British accent and this is very helpful.
I love your videos!!!! I'm learning English but my favorite language is Japanese. Besides, you have a video about Colombian expressions. And What a coincidence! I'm from Colombia :D
Once upon a time a chicken was wondering in senpai's room, while Senpai himslef was trying to send a massage to his GF. Senpai was sad & depressed because he didn't have a writing system. He went out to drink sake & on the way out he spilled ink on the floor. The chicken felt sorry & decided to help. It walked on the spilled ink then walked on paper. When senpai returned to his room, he was delight to see the paper full of text, he immediatly sent it to his GF. At that night senpai was celebratin & drank too much sake, then asked the cook to prepare chicken with rice for him. That chicken, which senpai ate, was the chicken that invented the Kanji writing system. Moral or the story: Do not try to help people if they can eat you when they celebrate.. Rip senpai's chicken..
I`m watching this video how you are learning Japanese to improve my English) It was hilarious when she said that she liked guys with cool hairstyles))))
Flash cards. If there's one thing that has increased my Russian vocabulary, it's flash cards. You can actually learn and retain 5-10 words a day, and that's not bollocks. I'm also in contact with a native Russian speaker who lives in Boston and has a RU-vid channel with lessons. I have a grammar book that I use every day, and I've taught myself to read, write, and type in Russian. All I need now is the confidence to actually speak Russian. I don't have your technology, but I'm compensating, because I want this. Thank you for this particular video, it gives me the impetus to forge ahead. And you have more than one friend, don't kid yourself.
whether only oftenly turn on podcast always will increase our ability to listening or understanding, ??pls explain me why or it is better hearing people talking each other in videos so we can catch more little bit what they mean ?? PAPA we need you here ?? (maybe "we" or only "me")
Hey, i have learned so much from your channel, and i hope if you can make some video about business English, cz i have to do the Bulats exam, thank a lot !! :D :)
Your videos are amazing and this year I'll talk with a British accent at school. And I learned that by watching your video. I have a challenge for you if it's ok 😅 can you try to learn Persian / Farsi ?
Useful (and hilarious) video! Great tips!i hope not too many Japanese girls still fancy JB...otherwise if I were you, I'd learn some more languages, just in case 😂🎌
haha. why didn't i find this ur japanese video before. sweet~ As a japanese learner, i can imagine how difficult it is for u english speaker:) GOOD JOB hang on with it!!!
hiii Ally!! great tips to help us to learn another language.. I want to learn French also... but my first love is English 😍😍😍 and you make all the lesson lovely so I'm so happy that now I can understand everything without subtitles, for example... just need to keep practicing my speaking hahahaha quick question about your Japanese lessons how did you learn to understand quickly what other person is responding? without knowing the language..😊 thank you Ally...!! 😘😘 xoxo
As one of Japanese fans of yours, glad that you picked up Japanese for example. Most of beginning learners of Japanese language can hardly write words in Japanese letters, but in English alphabets instead .. Well done! I like your bald hair, by the way. : P It's might strange if you had a typical hairstyle.
