I wish I could have learned this from you back when my kids were little. We had four sets of jeans needing proper repair for a decade and a half. You made this really easy to understand. What I had done was sad. At least now I can repair my own.

What exactly is the gauze-like cloth at the last step to stick on the sewing fix after applying ironing？ It is not the normal gauze used in medical purpose, is it?

En mi país México se conoce como Entretela para fusionar. La he comprado en La Parisina y en Modatelas Perdón por el comercial pero hay que dar el REMEDIO Y EL TRAPITO si no, no sirve.😅😂😂😂 Saludos

Vaseline is an adhesive, thermal fabric or filler used to line men's suits. The names differ by country. It is cotton and looks like fabric. It is better to buy and use soft material, and when gluing it should be well heated. You can buy it at stores that sell haberdashery, twine, and buttons. It is always present in these places.
