I love her videos because her English is very clear when she is explaining and she pronounce very clear the Chinese words and she repeat the words, so you can retain more easily. And more better, she writes the vocabulary you will learn in the video in the description box. I love your videos.

This is a really professionl lesson .. your presentation is flawless, with pictures and colors and pinyin .. and your slow, methodical enunciation goes right into my brain. Xiè xiè nín.
how about today? learning new things as well? I give u a channel to check, you might learn something new as well, my channel...lol...joking, but I hope my videos are also helping people like you, who love learning new things :)
What trips me up (I'm very new to Han Yu) a little is how some people pronounce "r" like an English "r" sound, and some people (like this video) pronounce "r" like "zh". Is that just the accent? Good video, BTW.
There are several components to learning Mandarin . One place I found that successfully combines these is the Magic mandarin blueprint (look for it on google) definately the most incredible treatment that I've found. Look at all the awesome info .
I won't stop making videos. I am just really busy recently. Time flies! I didn't even notice I haven't put on videos for a while. Making videos take forever. I am trying to figure out how to make videos faster but I don't know how yet.
Yi, Could you please make a video how to practice to sound the alphabets in Chinese. I noticed your lip movement and some sound I just cannot do it right. Maybe you already had the videos, but where is it? I am stuck with your lessons. Really good, the best so far. Thanks,
Thanks, it is about how to practice the sound and tone, very basic I need to do in order to sound like or almost Chinese. e, zh, ch, sh, r, a, o, e, i, u and u with two dots on the top. Thanks.
Im in endless struggle to pronunce R, sometimes it souds like JR together, words such as riben, ren, rou, ruguo r verry hard for portuguese speakers to pronunce.
The pronunciation can be a bit difficult for those not speaking Chinese . Can u slow down a bit in the beginning so can catch the formation of your mouth
I enjoy your videos but I noticed that you have a specific accent. 1) Where are your parents actual from? 2) In what city did you grow up? Your English is quite good by the way. 3) How or where did you learn your English.
+Mike Jerema Hi Mike! My accent is standard, sometimes with just a little bit northern accent but not too much at all. I learned English for a long time, in school and by myself. Long story. Anyway, practice is the key to learn a language well. I practiced a lot. Thank you for your questions. Maybe I will make a video talking about how I learned English. :)
Thanks for educational video. i have a question: i don't want to pay by cash or swipe card. i want to pay by alipay or weChat. Then what should i ask or what should i say? please upload some advance level tutorial
To count servings of food = 份 Fèn (two servings of vegetables = liang fen cai ) To count plates of food = 碟 Dié (two plates of vegetables = liang die cai ) To count number of plates = 个 Gè (two plates = liang ge die)
@Jim Parsit The Ü is like you trying to say U and E at the same time. Ü Umlaut are the two dots above the U. Ü =UE, Ä= AE or Ö=OE. The Ä and Ö not used in chinese. The Ä Ö Ü are of German origin.
Do you cover in one of your videos the difference between liàng and èr to mean two? I answered your question èr wèi and then I realized I was wrong :( Is liàng a counting word only for people?
+Dan Wells It is with an r, not a z. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_zpP3N6FHoA.html In this video at 2:06, I explain how to pronounce r.
+Yi Zhao (Homemade Chinese) sorry, it sounds like you say, phonetically, "zhou" but my Beijing teacher taught me "rou". wondered if this was just different accents.
+Dan Wells zhou sounds different but a little similar. You can find how I pronounce zhou in the same video link I sent you above. If you pronounce rou really fast, the r sound is not so strong. Just like in English, you don't pronounce every word equally clearly. :)
Yi Zhao My brain tells me to make it sound as if it is actually English. I think i described it wrong but idk it is something I do without even thinking about it.
