Hello sir, Augmented Chords are characterized by the flatten 5. A quick look at them, can be used as passing chords to 6, or 7. You either can do a chordal leading melody walk down from 7 down to 5 the Augment the 1 or 3 then land to destination.

I combine three voices as you can hear. R1 is a concert Piano, R2 is set an electric Piano, R3 I use any warm cool pad. Then you adjust on the volumes starting with the pads 30-40, Ep at 40-50 and the Concert piano at 80-90. I hope thus helps you. NOTE: these works on the latest Yamaha Keyboards 🎹 that has 4 voice section. Left, R1, R2 & R3.
