Hey again robeca You are absolutely making us fly without wings. You are really teaching us English as soft as cakes. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing tips about present continuous.
Why isn't your conjugation list rationally organized into 1st 2nd 3rd person singular THEN into 1st 2nd 3rd person plural ? Such inconsistencies make learning problematic. Why break parity with inter-language teaching methodology?

A very high quality explanation! There's so much total rubbish on RU-vid by people who have little idea of what they are talking about! This is not suitable for beginners but best for A1 to B2 students who want to clean up mistakes or misunderstandings. It's excellent for teachers just starting out.

If only my teachers were like them, they do so wonderfully and so understandably, I have the problem that I can't keep up with the class because unfortunately it's a level too high and the teacher doesn't care whether you come with them or not. So I learn from these videos for myself every day. Thank you very much for these teaching units. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭🌺☀️

Hello, you're the best teacher that I have known in my life!!! Thank you very much. But I have a question (sorry, it's not about the topic). Well my question is: Yesterday I saw some videos in the EngVid page (beginner level) and I want to know if all those videos in the page are in order? Thank :)
Great lesson. Well, I finish this lesson with a big insight into stative verbs and I'll search more about it because I didn't know it. Since I'm Brazilian, I guess ('cause I don't know if my idea is correct) that we haven't in Portuguese this structure, for the reason that, we have 2 ways to express a supplication/other verbs that are considered "Stative Verbs" in English. For an example, it involves using both the Progressive Tense ("gerúndio" in Portuguese) and the Simple Present Tense ("indicativo") "to claim a necessary", in a literal translation is: "I'm needing help" or "I need help" (Translate: "Estou precisando de ajuda" ou "Preciso de ajuda") Right, but why I'm talking about it? Sure, if we stop to analyze these two ways (Brazilian/Portuguese and American/USA) to express a life mindset, we recognize that it is so language philosophical/new form to think about actions/situations, taking into account the English context: "When I need something" like help, I do not "need" in a progressive time, that is, this situation isn't structured to express to a native speaker/listener a meaning that "The person whose the subject is asking the help and He/She helps the solution be presented to the finalizing the subject problem, in whatever time, this occasion will finalize", as occurs in Portuguese; so concluding semantically to us (Brazilians and others) that is a passenger situation. So different of English perspective about it, that consists to analyze just the "need" in general, who doesn't care about the "future resolution" and actions that will finish this verb. Any linguist/grammarian there to validate if I'm wrong in this logic? Thanks for your reading and attention!
