To you learners here: This is the easiest language to learn, but it's still like learning another language. It takes work. Don't get discouraged. I see that there are a lot of Esperantists monitoring the comments on these videos and our community whole-heartedly believes in helping out "Komencantoj," or beginners. Even if Riĉardo, (Evildea,) can't answer every question in the comments, if you aren't getting something, please ask us. We were where you are and we know some people learn this in weeks and others take a year or more. Either is fine. This global community has something that no other language community offers/ the whole world to talk to, listen to, share with, argue with, agree with and laugh with from every different culture and perspective. It's been a hundred thirty years and we're not THE international language, but we are AN international community. Keep working. Keep trying. It'll come in time. As long as you don't quit, I promise it will. We're here to help.

This video was great! I did have to watch the filino part about 3 times to really get it, but that's the beauty of RU-vid. This course is really great!

Does the order matter? Can I say gebopatroj instead of bogepatroj?

I always say bogepatroj but some people say gebopatroj. Both are acceptable. Zamenhof (the creator of the language) used bogepatroj kaj PIV (large modern dictionary) uses gebopatroj.

Saluton! I have a question do you know the kurso de esperanto program? And if so will you recommend it for a beginner like myself?

I’ve seen it floating around but never tried it out. It’s pretty old now so I might be a bit dated but honestly I can’t say.

"Kurso de Esperanto" is an excellent program for beginners. It taught me the basics of the language, which allowed me to read anything in Esperanto with the help of a dictionary after just one month. You could always try it and if you don't like it there are other courses to try for free. Have fun and enjoy the ride!

@@meshben7125 It really depends on your learning style. There aren't any other Direct Method course beyond a book with recordings Called Esperanto - Rekta Metodo. However, you can use Duolingo or you could user Lernu.net.

@@meshben7125Pasporta al la Tuta Mondo comes close. It's more like what Destinos and French in Action was for learners of Spanish and French. It is cheesy and dramatic. The exaggerated drama actually helped me learn
