Hello Mary! Mary Flowers lives not far from me in Portland, Oregon USA and is the uncontested queen of the fingerstyle community 'round these parts. I'm glad to see her talent and expertise being recognized far and wide.
I've been following Mary... and this was slow enough for me to fill in a few gaps for me... WOW! LOVE THIS! She's so good at breaking it down for me! First time really considering I can take some of my songs and convert from finger picking to Fingerstyle. Many players make we want to play better... very few get me there, like you. Thank you, Mary!!!

I think fingerstyle is fine for backing songs. In Irish and Celtic trad, many methods and videos are in that bloody style. It’s great for songs and slow airs but really inadequate for dance tunes, like en-droioù, plinnoù, ríleanna, póirt... This guitar sounds gorgeous! Must have been built by a skilled luthier
This does nothing for me. It's like when someone grabs my finger, and presses it on a string...it sucks. I cant relate to put.finger. here..now, put finger. There. Now here. Now thee. Now here. Just.play the damn song, repeat it slowly...and I'll get it...
