Very important: “Vous” isn’t only use for the plural of “tu/you”. It is a must to use “vous” instead of “tu” when talking to an unfamiliar person, an older person, your boss etc... ‘tu” is very familiar so anyone that isn’t your friends, family, or colleague, you should use “vous” when talking to them otherwise it is considered very rude and way too familiar. A person will tell you if you can address them with the familiar “tu”. This is a very important rule in France. Wise words from a French friend living in the US.
This video is great! I love how we can hear at a normal speed as if someone is talking and then breaking it down slowly so I can hear how each word is pronounced. It’s perfect.
I even know not as how to praise them for such a unique effort Online. I could not learn all these points in a 03 month long course in French Cultural Centre at Peshawar, Pakistan. So all praise goes to the founders of 'Ouis'....Bravo!
I love it how you say it normally at first, then slowly for us to understand! It's a miraculous method! You can have fun and learn at the same time! Job well done!
Je suis Shakeel. Je suis un etudiante a la langue Francis. This is best of all lesson on basic French I have ever heard or learnt in so little a time. Je ne comprende pas as how to Thank "Ouis" for it. But still I dire Merci beaucoup.
This video is really useful for me. I wanted to start learning French many tumes but I couldn't because of difficult video about French, but this video inspires me!
ItzYourBoyEman good luck dear ! Year nine is the right year to start revising for your gcse. I’m afraid I started way too late and I’m already in year 11 lmao 😂
I hope this helps a lot of people out there! :) I just wish we could make use of all the features of our program. Videos are bit limiting... haha But here are some time stamps: Subject Personal Pronouns: 0:40 To be: 5:30 To have: 8:54 Articles: 11:50 Negation: 14:12 Connection Words: 14:42 More Personal Pronouns: 20:05 Possessives: 21:09 Demonstratives: 23:31 Important Expressions: 24:37 Simple Vocabulary: 25:41 Verbs: 26:16 Questions Words and Answers 31:55 Complex Short Words: 38:24
This is a good 'refresher' if you already know some french, its well organised and highly relevant. It demonstrates the use in context so more advanced users can hear normal talking speed usage and there are extra bits (words) to learn in the context setting sections. I need to find something like this in Spanish now! Thx.

Surely it is enough to refurbish our years old knowledge of French just in one sitting, but it is better than any lecture or class work I have ever attended or done.
You seem to be Pushtoon like me, and learning a new language is no problem for us Pushtoons. Please go to 'French with Lya' and see dozens of my comments, mostly in French to her. (SHAKEEL)
@@itsmeilyah9356 i speak 12 language (english, French, hindi, gujrati, marathi, bengoli, bhojpuri, urdu, mandarin, cantonse, punjabi, Portuguese) and i have split personality for every language my talking ways and automaticaly change, whenever i talk to my friends in other language my friends thoughts it's a other guy talking
cette video est tres importante pour les enfantes jeunes, c'est aussi tres interessant! merci beaucoup pour cela. Excuse any mistakes there. Regards from a tyro french learner.
Although, the start of French seems to be not too difficult but it's details are too hard to digest, for it is, in fact, a too weird or bizarre langue. (SHAKEEL)
i have been learning french in school for 3 years now still i learnt many words that i never did in three years than how many in this lecture thank you
Shivani, mind please your Thanks are too little for the goodness which this lecture bears. It please be applauded from the Core of Heart, as I am doing time and again.
The video was amazing for learning French. I am school going student . And this is the time to do something to learn something in lockdown this time is not going to come again . Instead of watching movies playing games we should learn a new language it will help me in future. The video was too good the pronunciation was too good . Merci beaucoup for such nice video. 🙏🙏🙏😊☺🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Now your praise is more close to Truth, but I deem this lesson to be worth tons of praise and applaud by one and all who is fond of learning French... Bravo!
I'm a Frisian/Dutch woman. I speak Frisian, Dutch, Afrikan, German and English. Frisian, Dutch and Afrikan are very simmilar so that was easy. German has a lot of the same words but it was a bit harder. We are tought English at a young age and every movie has dutch subtitles. so that was doable. 11 days ago I started to learn French. I hour a day. 'Now I can read french and I can pronounce french words. Unfortunately I still can't form a lot of good french sentences yet. But I think I'm going to fast at the moment lol. I am 52, not particulary smart so If I can do it anyone can. This course is pretty good! With this one you have all the basics. I know because I've seen a few of them lately...
I love this video. The best ever.I wonder I haven’t seen it before...but am grateful I found it.I learned a lot already. But keep watching this video until I master it.Thank you so much for making this video❤️❤️❤️
Languages don’t come easy for me. In grade school we were taught French for 30 minutes a day three times per week. I never spoke it again until I started taking French classes at night as an adult, mostly for recreational travel. I wasn’t that good at it. Later I was travelling often in Africa so I learned a little Swahili, enough to humour the ladies selling their fruits, vegetables and bread rolls in the various markets and villages in East Africa. Not even close to conversational but sure had fun with it while travelling. Still later in life I started learning Spanish. I went a lot further with Spanish taking classes at work and in evening classes. Twice I lived with a family and attended Spanish school, once in Spain and once in Mexico. I actually got somewhat comfortable with basic conversations, no where near fluency but better than the average tourist. I felt pretty good about my learnings until two things happened to bring me crashing back to earth. On one trip to France I answered the waiter perfectly … in Spanish! Another time in Spain I answered in French! Quite humorous to me and I still have fun with it while on vacation. I’m in my mid sixties now and watching many French language videos to prepare for a trip next spring, hopefully Covid will be under control by then.
That was amazing i really loved the way every thing was set up explained and pronounced just excellent , my first language is Spanish , i learned English on my own as a second language , and also learned how to speak Haitian Creole which is a broken French i think will help me a lot while learning french since so many words are either pronounced the same or similar, the same happens with my Spanish there are so many words in french similar to spanish it will make it so much easier to learn how to speak french , am all for it now , thanks for the lessons , just subscribed ....
It needs no saying for France and Spaim are closed neighbours, so their languages are due to much alike---though it is not the case with Russian and German, or Polish and Italian, for Russian and Polish are absolutely harsh and difficult to understand let alone learn. (SHAKEEL)
So if I watch it again... Then I'll learn 100% French!! XD Oh btw can did u make another version, like Spanish or Italian, that will really help more people!
Haha not quite, but watching it a couple times is a good idea. We already have a version of this video for Italian, Spanish, and German. They are all available on this channel. I hope this helps!

Merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo! Maintenant, je peux parle plus français! J’espère que vous, le personne qui est lisez, pouvez parlez français bientôt! Si vous réglez votre portable sur le français, votre français s’améliorera. Joyeux Noël à tout! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🎄
You made a mistake : "Vous" is not only the plural of you. It's also for a person that you respect, or a person that you don't know very well. I'm French. Je précise que "vous" n'est pas seulement le pluriel, c'est aussi une politesse envers une personne que l'on ne connaît pas.
