My wife and I were married in Venice in 1992, and I decided to take my family to Europe to celebrate out 25th wedding anniversary, and we stayed in Milan to visit friends. My son who was 16 at the time, asked me why I was always getting dressed up when we were going out, and I told him, “because we’re in Milan, the fashion capital of the world, and you always want to look your best, because the Italian’s always look their best”. When in Milan, dress like a Milanese……😉

the first time I visited Milan, I thought I was at a fashion shoot. So many beautiful people just standing around looking beautiful. I personally would like to see men take more risks when it comes to fashion, there's a world of color in the rainbow. I wouldn't be averse to a Laura Ashly small floral print shirt, pants, or shorts paired with a Classically cut blue blazer topped off with blue suede loafers or all-white leather low-top sneakers. Italians really seem to love black.

I love how so many men are carry messenger bags or zip wallets. So pleasing to see.

overwhelming trend is for trousers to be above your ankle, in days gone by that would be considered way too short, it kinda works if you are average height but if you are a very tall person, like me, with long legs then trousers worn that way don't look so good, I've had this problem all my life with clothes being too short, but it seems to be a fashion now in trousers and jackets.
