I'm native german speaker and listen just for fun to this. It may improve your listening skills, but there some sentences that never said like this in Germany, for example 24:59 "Die Regensaison naht". There is nothing like a "rainy season" in Germany. And also 12:48: The study of "Computer Science" is not translated when speaking german, it's called "Computer Science" in german too, not "Computerwissenschaften". 34:21 "Es ist mir ein Vergnügen", it's correct, but no one ever say this in Germany, people would say something like "Gern geschehen", or "Gerne" or "Bitte" or "Selbsverständlich"

I love this so much. I know a few words in German, and with the extra help here im able to cover the english translation and get a pretty good idea of whats being said. Since it points out the important words to look for before going into conversation.

The problem with such language courses is that it ignores the role of word order, and so it becomes a matter of memorization rather than thought. The critical task in learning a language properly is learning how to think in that language. For example, German does not ask "What is your name?", German asks "What call you (self)?" German does not ask "What's up?", it asks "What goes?".

I took a German language course in high school, but have forgotten most of it at my age. It's wonderful to hear it sprechen again. A wonderful language. Meine frau ist Deutcher, but we speak English because we are Americans. Danke for this opportunity to hear the language and translation of conversations. I encounter a bit of German on international products, but don't always pay attention to it unless I'm bored. Vielen dank, Bob

The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! When a child my parents spoke a German dialect and that’s all we spoke until I started school, which was in English. I really enjoy the video, most of the simpler words and phrases I understand, but the pronunciation are a bit different from what we spoke at home. I will have to take the time to listen and try to learn the correct way to pronounce the words. Thanks a lot

Superb, thanka a bunch...I am.learning German now why? Well....English is useful BUT not enough and has a very limited shelve life communication wise if you speak it i a country that do not speak it as a first or second official language. Each language does open commercial/cultural/work/folkloric/artisanal doors that others cannot! Also, as much as I like to use English of course being in the UK now or speaking it to folks that has it as a first language, I am noticing tough and can see as my predictions which usually becomes true in such matters, that more and more people have started since 2018-2019 not to choose English as a second language as a reflex to use it like the Lingua Franca right away but go for French, Spanish, Russian, German, Malay etc...which are per regions of the globe and for some, internationally, lingua francas themselves. Some folks also seem to go for specialized languages like Icelandic or Maltese or Farsi to open special historical and cultural doors ... Since Brexit (which I understand the reason for) and so many Trumpist extremists in the United States being there still, English will be used less around the world, at least and indelibly at less than 15%, by 2023-25. I speak French, English / American, Mexican Spanish and I now go all the way for the first language in the continent of the European Union and in many German diasporas around the world and in the countries that speak it officially or as a second language in some regions: German! Ich spreche Französisch, Englisch / Amerikanisch, Mexikanisches Spanisch und strebe jetzt die erste Sprache auf dem Kontinent der Europäischen Union und in vielen deutschen Diasporas auf der ganzen Welt sowie in den Ländern an, in denen sie offiziell oder als Zweitsprache gesprochen wird Einige Regionen: Deutsch
