At start it seems difficult but over the time with consistency,you will be good at it."It always seems impossible until it's get done" Nelson Mandela..So don't worry.I had also in similar situation in the starting but over the time i find it interesting and Learn German RU-vid channel is my main source of learning.Still i did not complete any level but now i got confidence that i can do it.

They really shouldn't. Just take the word and its gender one case at a time. Before you know it, you'll be using the articles correctly in no time at all.

Just like in all languages, most natural speakers have difficulty with the grammar. This is a really great video series! Stick with it and realize that no one expects you to speak German with perfection. I am sure you will do well with a bit of practice. Good luck!

I'm a native speaker and it's quite astonishing how difficult it seems to be. So many rules, so many exceptions ... I just know what words have what gender. Unfortunately I can't give you an idea how to learn words properly. It's just naturally for me that a table is male, milk female, a window neutral and a computer male. But don't think that English is easier for us. I once really put my foot into it when I called the child of a friend an "it". What can I say, children are neutrums over here!

Haha, same here XD. I speak Russian, and when I first learned English, I was completely surprised by the "it, a, an, the". It totally messed with my brain for years. I decided to learn German, and now I figured out they also have articles, *and they're different!*

German people should use "das" for every object. "Der" and "die" should be used for people acording to their real gender. It would be a lot easier. 😂

Although I'm a native Polish speaker I have always found German grammar quite easy to learn. Our languages comes from a different families (Germanic and Slavic) but they share common traits like verb conjugation, cases, masculine, feminine and neutral nouns. It helps with grasping those ideas intuitively. I believe that some non-European or even English speakers don't feel it as I do as they don't use that stuff in their native languages.

excellent source of Deutsch material for beginners learning the language. The main thing that scares me, is the thing I have been intrinsically trying to deal with, which is Deutsch's organization of a sentence structures.....German is like backwards for English. For instance, they would say "Can i to the bathroom go"? where as we would say, Can I go to the bathroom. It not necessarily a bad thing, its just something I'm going to have to gradually adjust to. You can actually play around a lot in terms with what you say with that though, I've heard.

There are many flowers that aren‘t feminin tho! Der Löwenzahn, der Efeu, der Klee,... And maybe it‘s important to point out that moment is an exception. It‘s not das Moment but der Moment. Also it‘s not die Mädl. It‘s also das Mädl and I‘m pretty sure Mädl is just a short/slang word for Mädchen. Thanks for the rules tho they will help me a lot explaining german to my boyfriend :)
