I’m an American and married a Gujarati man so this is so super helpful!! I love the way you broke everything down and made it easy to speak and understand! I also liked that you gave us explanations for the phrases of why you’d use them and when
@@luvLena12 yes they were supportive right away. I was worried bc I’m caucasian but they never cared about that. They only cared if he was happy 💕 That all being said, i would ask your guy about his family’s situation on the subject. If you’re not Indian do they care? That is the first thing i asked my husband bc i did not want to have to potentially fight with his family about being good enough. I knew if his parents wouldn’t approve then we were dead in the waters anyways.
@@nikiapatel8463 I am so happy his parents approve . I feel like in my case no so much . I have been Friends with him for about 2 years.long distance friendship .few months back,we felt into a relationship. I have already 2 daughters , I am older in age by number not by looks , I live in USA. I am Latino . He adores me and I adore him too. He got engaged twice but things don’t go through and left him wounded, unable to trust . His family is putting pressure to get him married and they would like someone with his same beliefs system and life style . We were planing to go through thick and thin and I guess he got scared and pulled away. he doesn’t want to hurt me I have gave it all trying . I guess he realize is not going to be possible anyways . I adore him . We still have plans to meet if is Gods will next summer as friends . I have accepted my reality and I am ok. what else can I do right? . So, I am happy that I was able to meet him, learn about his culture, be there for him during this time. Some people have told me Gujarati men are amazing . God bless your marriage.
@@luvLena12hi there! I read your comments on this situation and would love to speak with you more about it! I am also Latino myself dating an Indian girl and her parents do no not approve I am in a rough situation and have been dying to speak with someone who could relate with me

This video has really helped me as I decided to start learning today. Because I have heard family use the language on a regular basis, such phrases aren't too hard to grasp, and I think that will help me get the gist of it going forward.
