Cassidy is good, but compared to other hammer legends she’s just the worst

​@@TrippedUpCassidy is better than Magyar, and even Sentinel when it comes to Hammer what are you on shes one of the best Hammer's like Thor and Bodvar she also has dlight nsig which is true on every health

@@DrakoGo2DaMoon I’m not talking about just hammer kit though, I’m factoring in their second weapon too. Magyar is definitely better than Cassidy, many people are beginning to use and dominate with Magyar. And Cassidy’s hammer kit is similar strength to Sentinel’s, but when you factor in the second weapon, Sentinel becomes way better. At the end of the day though, it’s just my opinion. No one said you had to agree with it

@@TrippedUp meh tbh I think most of the hammer legends are on pretty even footing, they’re all pretty good. The gap between them is so small I don’t even think it’s worth considering the best from the worst. Also blasters are still an insane weapon, especially Cassidy’s blasters, I definitely don’t think her blasters are the worst, looking at ssig and dsig especially. Cassidy is an insane legend. But most hammer legends are also insane 🤔 Also there was days like 2 years ago where u could get 4 hit true combos on both her weapons. And dlight ssig still being true on her blasters and doing 40 dmg is a mockery. She also has 4 hammer sigs now and her new dsig is quite insane in my opinion. Blasters nsig can catch ppl out sometimes but tbf it’s not great. I think she’s on the same level as kor and magyar maybe. Most of the others are ever so slightly better. As I main Magyar, Magyar is certainly very strong, his hammer sigs are the worst of all hammer legends, but again, still pretty solid sigs. And also his sigs aren’t really why I play him. A) GS is overpowered as fck (carried me to 2159 with 0 losses last season) B) he’s the coolest looking legend in the game by far C) His stats are pretty fckn broken. D) His gs sigs r kinda insane, I prefer them to makos gs sigs tbh. E) his hammer sigs are still good just not the best. Meh that’s my opinion on the matter, enough said really.

Never cook again. The worst take on hammer legends ive ever read. Yumiko and magyar on equal footing 😂 Just so you know, youre not just fighting the weapon. The sigs are important. You take great sword mag vs great sword mako and they dont play even remotely the same. Quit lumping people together by weapon. The game is more complex than that. Why else is it on year 7 with the healthiest long standing population. If it were weapon dependant youd see a staggering amount of one weapon at tourneys which isnt the case and never has been ​@@StrayChoom

I’m just not convinced by that, if it was really “the best weapon in the game” then plenty of pros would be using 9 dex Cassidy, yet there’s nobody using her. Of course, I’m not saying Cassidy is bad. But when I compare her to all the other hammer legends, I feel like the others have more going for them. Maybe if blasters weren’t the worst weapon in the game she would be better, but I don’t see any reason to use her over any other hammer legend. The true combos that she gets are negligible in my opinion because all you really need to succeed with hammer are its bread and butter combos + offstage capabilities

Her blasters are the only thing holding her back that's it

True combos aren't everything, yes the damage is great but at what cost? She has very low speed making it hard to space/punish people (given, hammer is a weapon that is a little more stationary in how you play it, so low speed is less of an issue), her attack/def is middling to mediocre (stats that hammer especially appreciates to make trading with it EXTREMELY unfavorable), and her blasters kit is very underwhelming (low speed is a MASSIVE issue on blasters, and outside ssig her blasters sigs are meh). The true combos can really stack on damage at white, but hammer isn't exactly strapped for high damage true combos. In fact, dlight sair is usually considered the most rewarding true combo in the game, while dlight slight/dlight dair put the opponent in extremely uncomfortable positions. If there is one redeeming factor she has, it's that her hammer nsig and ssig are unapologetically busted... is what I would say if they didn't indirectly nerf ssig by making its charge version the much worse tornado her dsig used to be.

Idk man this could be bias but I have 1050 hours on hammer and Cassidy seems too preform the best for me at a vaalhaalan level
