I've tried to attach a crochet-cup-sleeve to my sleeveless lyocell dress 4 times with no success... Your tutorial showed me that I can sew it easily without sewing machine! It's brilliant, thank you for sharing your tricks!
Just now finished making the capped sleeves. Turned out great! Could not have done it without your help. Thank you so very much. Will be using this method from now on. The other videos were to hard to understand. This was so simple. Thanks again.
Thank you! I was going to pay someone to add cap sleeves to a dress for me, then did an idle Google, this video popped up, and within an hour I'd finished the sleeves on my dress myself! I'm pleased as punch. Thank you again.
Thank you somuch, exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to add a small sleeve to vests I'm making for my dolls. I already cut the fabric, and it was a last-minute. ❤ thought.
Thank you so much for making this diy cap sleeves. I made so many after watching this video. took out all my old dresses I have made in the past and added the cap sleeves. It looks so good and so easy to make.. When I don't have enough fabric I make these cap sleeves also. LOVE IT. THANK YOU!!
I love your tutorial!!! I am 66 years old and I like a little sleeve in my tanks and tunics, so your easy method will be perfect for me. I am excited! I can continue to wear my favorite tops and not be concerned about keeping a shrug, scarf, or some kind of wrap. Thanks so much!!!
This is awesome! Never thought of doing this and now I want to, as have a few sleeveless tops that I would love those little cap sleeves on! You made it look very easy and understandable!
Wow, thank you SOOO very much for this video. I have been watching so many of these on sleeve pattern making. I have just gotten more and more confused. After watching your video I think I'm ready to try it. I'm trying to make a full puff sleeve instead of the cap sleeve. Wish me luck everyone!!!! Thank you
Great Tute. Too bad, I altered a linen shirt dress using fabric I cut off to make these sleeves. lol 100% Linen is unforgiving in stretch. I'll still wear it, and use this pattern for other clothing and having learned a few things. Thanks so much
I have been searching for a tutorial to add a cap sleeve, when I remembered seeing you on It’s Sew Easy. Voila! Thanks. I’m confused, though mid the opening is 18inches, then why is the cap so much shorter! I’m, apparently. Issuing something.
At 1:26, u said measuring around opening of the sleep - what does that mean precisely? Around the curve (1) or the straight line from top point to the lowest point of the sleeve (2)? I would guess it's (1). Am I right?
