I still don't get this bit. They get yelled at for not knowing how to drive, but they think that it's funny, so they tell everybody else to learn how to drive?
good question and answer: yeh, there's another episode where they're trying to decide whether to park far away in parking lot or not cuz of ppl bumping his truck.. but then shifts to the mennenites needing to "learn to drive" so they could get off their campus to meet other singles... then later just becomes metaphor for whatever roadblocks in life are stopping you from accomplishing your goals.
Earlier in the episode after the "wake up early in the morning" argument between Wayne and Darry in the parking lot, they ultimately decided to take the "Rockstar's parking" spot, but almost drive into coach, who yelled at them to "learn how to fucking drive", which gave them a laugh
It’s from the cold open of the episode. Wayne, Dary and Dan are about to head to MoDean’s when they get into a discussion about whether to take the parking spot closest to the bar. After a debate about it, Wayne acquiesces and is about to take the “rockstar parking” when he almost hits Coach, who tells him to learn how to fucking drive, which cracks them up and became an inside joke.
